My schedule is very flexible right now, and I’m available most days throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, or extended care. With a lighter work schedule during the off-season from skiing, I have plenty of time to give pets the attention, exercise, and consistency they need. I enjoy staying active, so I’m always happy to take dogs out for walks, longer outings, or just spend quality time with them during the day. I’m also available for last-minute bookings and can adapt to your pet’s routine. I’m looking forward to spending my days with some furry companions and making sure they’re well cared for while you’re away.

I’m respectful of your home and aim to keep everything clean and just as you left it. I also provide regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe and doing well. Before caring for a pet, I like to learn about their personality, daily routine, and any special needs so I can make them as comfortable as possible. It’s especially helpful to know how they interact with other dogs and people, their energy level, favorite activities, and any behaviors or triggers I should be aware of. I also appreciate knowing feeding schedules, bathroom routines, leash habits, commands they respond to, medications or accommodations, and anything else that helps keep their routine consistent. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide safe, attentive, and personalized care for your pet.
A typical day
A typical day with me is active, engaging, and tailored to your dog’s energy level and personality. I love getting dogs outside for walks, hikes, trips to the park, playing fetch, and plenty of playtime and attention throughout the day. For more active dogs, I’m happy to provide longer walks or outdoor adventures to help them burn energy and stay mentally stimulated. For dogs that prefer a slower pace, I’m just as happy spending time relaxing, giving cuddles, and keeping them company. I also make sure pets stay on their normal routine when it comes to feeding, potty breaks, rest, and any instructions provided by the owner. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, exercised, and well cared for while you’re away.

I’ve had hands on experience caring for animals my entire life. I grew up in a household with both dogs and cats, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines like feeding, walking, playtime, and general care. I’ve also helped care for chickens for a couple of years, which gave me additional experience with maintaining consistent schedules and attention to detail. Over the years, I’ve regularly helped friends, family, and neighbors with their pets. Whether that’s walking dogs, checking in on them while owners are away, or making sure they get the attention and exercise they need. I’m confident handling different energy levels and personalities, from more relaxed pets to those that need extra activity and engagement. I always prioritize safety, follow owner instructions closely, and make sure pets stay on their normal routines, including proper feeding (no people food unless specifically approved). My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and happy while you’re away.

Jake took incredible care of my two pups. Cooper and Blue are both big dogs and have higher energy and they loved their time with Jake. He sent me daily updates on how they were doing and took them on great hikes. He honored my requests and was incredibly responsive and respectful. I will definitley book with him again. 10/10
Jake took such great care of my dog! I consistently use him to let my dog out and he always makes sure to take her on a long walk since I am usually gone all day. I highly recommend Jake, he truly cares about your pet!
