Hi! I’m Jake, a lifelong dog lover with professional daycare experience. I grew up with dogs and spent time working at a busy dog daycare and boarding facility in Denver, where I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. That experience taught me how to read dog behavior, keep play safe, and make sure every dog feels comfortable and cared for. I know how stressful it can feel leaving your pet with someone else, so I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to make your dog feel relaxed, happy, and loved while you’re away, whether that’s during a walk, a drop-in visit, or longer care. My schedule is very flexible, and communication is important to me. I always keep my phone nearby and I’m happy to send updates and photos so you can see how your pup is doing. Every dog has their own personality and routine, and I make sure to follow what works best for them so they feel right at home. I’d love to meet you and your pup! 🐾

Jake was fantastic! We were very nervous to leave our dog for a month, but Jake did a great job at making us feel comfortable and cared for our pup like he was his own. Our dog really likes him and seemed very happy upon arriving back home. He kept us updated multiple times a day with pictures, which put us at ease seeing how happy they were. He left the house as clean as it was when we left. Jake went above and beyond in going out of his way to help out when we had an emergency on our trip and had to come home early, he helped us get a refund for the part of our trip we did not use with out us even having to ask. We will definitely be requesting him when we need Rover services in the future!
Jake did a fantastic job! My boys were very happy. Fun to see them smiling pictures of Nanuq and Zeus enjoying Jake.

Schedule
I’m a musician who recently moved to town, so my schedule is very flexible right now. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, giving me plenty of time for walks, playtime, and attentive care. I structure my days so the pets I’m watching always get consistent attention, exercise, and communication with their owners.

I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routines as closely as possible. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and supervision, while keeping their environment safe and calm. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, and I always communicate with owners so they feel confident their pet is living their best life and having a great time!
A typical day
When we aren’t running around the fenced in yard or going on a walk, you can find us hanging out and playing in my (non-smoking) house! They might even get a short concert from one of Nashvilles best trumpet players 🎺🐕
