I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid! I’ve had my own dog since college, we walk every day! I’ve been called on for years to take care of friend’s pets while they are out of town. Caring for dogs is one of my favorite things to do!

I have experience with all sizes of dogs. I love to walk and play fetch with fur babies. I’m available for drop in visits or simply to just take your dog out while you’re away!

I’ve used Rover as a caretaker but never as a pet parent before and Jake calmed all my nerves! He kept me updated with pictures and notes about how Obie was doing in my absence. Seeing Obie warm up to Jake and become friends was so sweet. I’ll use him again in the future.
Jake is great! He is responsive, timely, trustworthy, sends pics, takes long walks- highly recommend him! And his dog is SO CUTE too!
Jake was great! He sent us great pictures of our two pups during the walk and they were so happy when we got home. Would highly recommend!
Barry seemed to really enjoy his walk with Jake today! Jake was easy to communicate with and sent me some really cute pictures of Barry from their walk. I will definitely book with Jake again!
Jake is kind, responsible, and caring with all animals. I have seen him care for his dog, Franklin, and cat, Norman, over the years and he goes the extra mile to ensure they are safe and healthy. Jake is thoughtful, and considerate of different pets’ socialization skills and interactions with others. He is a trustworthy person to have for Rover!
Jake is a great dog owner to his cat Norman and dog Franklin. Both clearly love him! He has also been around my black lab and hyper golden retriever and does great with them! I would happily entrust my dogs with Jake and anyone who gets to hire him through Rover will be lucky to do so!

Schedule
Im currently a stay at home dog dad, I am available seven days a week, all day, to take care of your dog! Whether it be a drop in, walk, or extra play time!
