** In addition to being a life long pet owner I am a former dog walking/pet sitting business owner. I was co-founder of a large Maplewood/South Orange dog walking/pet sitting business and after selling it in 2014 I ran a sitting/walking business independently until 2018. I’ve cared for many different breeds, ages, and abilities. I’m comfortable administering medicine and will reinforce training techniques being used in the household. I grew up in an a wooded lake community in northern NJ and I love being out in nature and with all types of animals. Our half acre fenced yard is perfect for dogs who like to run about and no indoor areas are off limits. This situation is best for dogs who love to be with other dogs and who don’t wrestle with new environment anxiety. 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈 safe ** 3 night minimum for Thanksgiving ** 5 night minimum for Christmas

Jaina is so warm and lovely. Ruby enjoyed running around in the huge fenced in yard, she had a great time and was well cared for!

I highly recommend Jaina as a dog boarder. She truly understands dogs and spent plenty of time playing with them. Jaina is conscientious, tidy, and very responsive. Very grateful she was able to take care of my dogs.
We are so grateful for Jaina! She took wonderful care of BOTH my large pups on short notice. The minute my dogs arrived at Jaina's house for our meet and greet, they were sniffing every inch of space. Jaina was warm and welcoming, allowing them to run all over both floors of her home and explore her huge backyard. I could see she truly understood dogs and knew they would be safe and happy with her. Jaine provided my high energy dogs with lots of play, stimulation, and cuddles. She was patient and nurturing and provided me with updates, photos and videos. One of my pups was wailing and refusing to get in the car when it was time to leave Jaina's. What a wonderful experience!
Jaina is a fantastic dog sitter, from the moment we spoke she showed interest in understanding my needs as the dog pet parent, and my pet child. Very communicative, dog loving, and just puts you at ease knowing your pet is in safe hands.
Winnie had a great stay with Jaina! Jaina kept us up to date and sent nice pics. Jaina gives the dogs lots of love and attention. Winnie especially loved her porch naps with Jaina. I highly recommend Jaina!

Schedule
I work from home with a flexible schedule. I am home more often than not and am not gone for long periods of time when I do need to step out.

Safety, trust & environment
All rooms in the house are permissible and the large back yard is fenced. The property is somewhat isolated and attracts local wildlife so flea/tick treatments will be required. There are no small children living on the premises.

Playing in the yard. Walking in the neighborhood. I am home more often than not so my clients get much of my attention throughout the day.
