Hi! My name is Jaimie, I am 29 years old, and I love animals. I come from a multi-pet household and have been around critters and beasts of all kinds my entire life, both my own and ones I’ve fostered. I began petsitting by word of mouth in high school and over time built it up into a business — I’ve been able to do it full-time for almost 10 years now! I love it more than any other job I’ve ever had and I am more than happy to help you and your pet out. My family and I ran a small animal rescue out of our home for most of my adolescence, and that experience has exposed me to so many different kinds of animal behavior and disabilities alike. I know how to train, I am patient, I understand the importance of specific instructions/requirements (no pup is the same as another), and after a lifetime being surrounded by animals, you can trust that I have no qualms about jumping, slobber, or pet hair!! My own three dogs are in their teenage years now, and they have brought me a new understanding and love of taking care of senior and disabled animals. They’ve taught me how important it is to slow down and be happy to just lie in the sun sometimes. Patience is the most important virtue in human to animal communication! My care for your pet is all up to the pet and his or her needs. I like to learn about their daily routine during our meet and greet and follow it as best I can so that they’re as close to being at home with their family as they can get! I also understand some pets might have “eccentric” behaviors — Trust me, with my own pets, I’ve been there!! I love to send plenty of photos and updates about what the kids are up to, and I'm always by my phone if you need anything while I'm in your home. I understand the anxiety of leaving your babies, and I want you to feel at ease knowing they're safe and sound and happy at home. I'm also an artist and I'm told I take and draw some pretty good pictures while you're away 😉

We can rely on Jaimie to provide thorough, good care for our senior dog. Jaimie is also flexible about working with mutual schedules. We are so fortunate to have her.
Jaimie is an awesome sitter and is so sweet with my putty/bully xl! She even left a beautiful hand drawn picture of them two!
We are so so happy Toby had a wonderful time with Jaimie while we were away for a week. Toby is a 5 year old, 97 pound German Shepard who had never been away from us since he was 8 weeks old! Jaimie stayed at the house and cared for him, played and cuddle with him, and followed his feeding and medication routine without a hitch! She is very trustworthy and sent us pictures and an update daily!! We couldn’t be happier with how it all went and will hire her whenever we need to leave him again!

Schedule
I petsit full-time, both overnight stays and daily walks and check-ins. For those booking me for overnights, I am typically out and about for a couple of hours walking pups during the day on weekdays, but I'm pretty flexible and can adjust my schedule if needed.
