My love for animals has allowed me to develop a large range of experience working with different breeds, ages, temperaments, etc! Below are a few credentials of mine. ⭐️ Insured ⭐️ When I was a college student, I volunteered at the animal shelter nearby my university 2-3x a week for 4 years - which meant I walked dogs of all ages and breeds, as well as took care of many types of cats (including FIV+ cats!). I have two bulldogs, meaning I also know how to get lazy, stubborn and strong dogs to cooperate! I also have two cats and previously owned guinea pigs and rabbits, meaning I am well-versed on how to care for animals other than dogs. Recently, I returned from a month long stay in Greece in a small village where I worked at a dog sanctuary. I helped with their breeding program, and walked the dogs daily as well as feeding and administering medicine. These dogs ranged from 3 weeks old (bottle feeding puppies!) to 17 years old! Furthermore, I am a graduate from Highland Canine Training (School for Dog Trainers). This 6 month program allowed me to learn to train and work with detection dogs, search and rescue, cadaver, disaster search dogs, therapy dogs, autism assistance dogs, mobility dogs, behavioral modification (resource guarding, fear, etc), dog sports, basic and advanced obedience, and so much more! Additionally, I am a graduate from Penn State main campus with a degree in Animal Behavior. I am well aware that some dogs/pets require more care than others; as previously mentioned, my family owns bulldogs, so I am very understanding of how to provide care for the more “high-maintenance” dogs such as cleaning wrinkles and giving eye drops when needed! I have had to administer fluids to my guinea pigs before when they were sick, which was quite challenging, so I like to believe it I was able to accomplish that task I can do anything you ask me to! I also have experience cutting cat nails and rodent nails. I do not discriminate on size, breed, etc. I love pets of all kind and am more than willing to help out!
