I have a two story townhouse. My back yard is rock wall, 5 feet minimum, there are no side gates. Downstairs is all tile or hard floor, my dog(s) have free access to the furniture and I allow boarded dogs the same. All accessible areas of the house are pet proof, doors to the laundry room and garage are closed full time. I only board one dog at a time, and require a meet and greet at the local park to confirm no aggressive behavior towards my dogs. Dogs for boarding must be house trained and spayed/neutered. City ordinances apply, dogs must be microchipped and have a current rabies vaccination. Please provide enough food for the entire boarding period. Your dog will be fed on the schedule you provide, and will be fed separately from my dogs. Fresh water bowls are on each floor of the house and in the back yard. Back yard has a shaded porch. Dogs boarded will have an exercise and feeding schedule agreed on in writing. I can provide as much or as little exercise as needed. Dogs who may be an escape risk can be taken outside on a leash if needed. A harness (not just a collar) is required if the dog is to be walked or taken to the park. Owners must supply a crate if the dog is trained to sleep in a crate. Otherwise it is highly recommended but not required if you bring a dog bed or blanket with your dog’s scent on it for them to sleep on. Unless otherwise requested, the dog will be allowed to pick where they want to sleep, but I’m perfectly ok with them sleeping in my bedroom. My dog normally sleeps on my bed with me most nights, and there is room for another dog. -Upon request, and for extra cost, I can arrange for your dog to be the only one in the house, I can accommodate emergency requests for boarding dogs. For drop-in feeding/walking, I will accommodate the dog’s normal schedule as closely as I can. I do require a properly fitting harness to be supplied if I will be walking a dog outside their home. I strongly prefer the dog have an identifying tag plus their rabies tag on their collar or harness if I am going to walk them outside the owner’s property. Dog walking/drop in/house sitting clients: I require a meet and greet with the owner and their dog at their house. I will NOT bring my dog to those types of bookings. Overnight dog/house sitting clients, my schedule will automatically be updated for days that I am available unless otherwise discussed I will be at your house the entire evening until the following morning, but I can make myself available to work from your house during the day as well.
