Pet sitting is my full time occupation. My schedule is flexible and can usually fit around anybody's needs, although I do leave the client house from usually 10 AM to 2 PM to attend to my regular lunch clients and other personal matters. *I have a two night minimum for overnight stays. It is just too much work to pack and unpack everything for just one night. *During these hot summer months I only offer walks from 7-9 am as the concrete/asphalt is too hot for puppy paws.

I do try to mimic the pets normal routine as much as possible, to try and keep them from getting too stressed. Although I cannot provide 24 hour care, I do try to limit excessive absences during the day. I am extremely safety conscious and prefer that pets have collars with current information on the ID tags. I am extremely cautious and aware of making sure gates and doors are always closed. I can also take them to and from vet or grooming appointments, I am an experienced dog transporter and make sure all passengers are secure and safe! An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure in my book.

I love all dogs from tiny Chihuahuas to giant Geat Danes and everything in between. I prefer that all clients be spayed/neutered but will make exceptions in special circumstances, however I do not take care of females in heat. I need to know about any medical or behavioral issues during initial contact.
A typical day
We can walk around your neighborhood, or go to a park and walk there. However, I am not a long distance hiker. I am an expert at playing Chuck-It with my big girl, and playing chase around the yard! However during hot or inclement weather we can just cuddle on the couch and watch tv!

Pet care experience
I love dogs and taking care of my pets and helping to save rescue dogs is my life's passion. I grew up with dogs and have always loved them. Until recently, I had two dogs, a beagle mix and a chihuahua mix (both rescues). Before my recent “retirement” I spent many years volunteering at many local shelter and rescue groups, where I learned so much about interacting with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and personalities.
