Jaime and I were colleagues at a large academic veterinary medical center, where she was a vet assistant and I was a social worker. Jaime wore many hats in her role here, but the hat that fit her best was that as a wonderful caretaker to animals. Her first priority was the animals and their well-being. She, clearly, loves animals, and it was rare to see Jaime without one in her arms or by her side. She always had the animal's best interest in mind, and would make sure to keep cages clean and help animals calm, even if they were not patients that were assigned to her, on that day. She went above and beyond to care for these animals. I have a cat that is very fearful and hard to handle. Jaime has cat-sit for her and did a wonderful job of calming her and not pushing her buttons. I know this site is only for dogs, but I wanted to not only put my professional recommendation, but also a personal one. I think Jaime would be a great asset for dogs and any other animal, especially fearful one.
Jamie was a wonderful person we could not have chosen a better person to watch our pup for the first time. We'll most likely book with her again if we're ever in town again! Thanks so much for taking such great care of Atta for us!
Jaime is a truly compassionate person with a genuine love for animals. She's great at reading their body language and cues, and is always happy to provide them with snacks and belly rubs.

Schedule
I work part time and go to school; available during the day and evenings mostly. I work part time Fridays and Saturdays. My days with your pet will focus on their safety and comfort. We will have fun if they want to go out, or hang out indoors if they are nervous. :)

I live in an apartment in a quiet neighborhood with no roomates. No other pets in the home. Neighbors with indoor dogs and fenced yards. Willing to restrict "walks" to my courtyard or walk pets one at a time if that is your preference.
A typical day
Outdoor exercise and enrichment for pets allowed outside: walks, gentle hikes, trips to the bookstore. I allow pets on furniture/in my bed and don't like to leave them alone for long
