Pet care experience

Lifelong Animal Lover

Hi there! I’m Jailee, and I’ve been caring for animals my whole life—from my own pets to those of friends, family, and clients. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, and I’m confident handling everything from daily walks and potty breaks to feeding, administering medications, and providing lots of love and playtime. I’ve worked in veterinary clinics, fostered rescue pets, and even run my own small dachshund breeding program, so I know how to read animal body language and respond calmly in any situation. Whether your pup needs a high-energy walk or a quiet cuddle buddy, I tailor my care to meet their individual needs. You can count on me to treat your pet like one of my own—with patience, compassion, and attention to detail. I’m reliable, communicative, and always happy to send updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in great hands!

House Sitting • jul. 13, 2026

Jailee is always on top of things, communicates well, and shares the cutest pics. She’s done a house sit for me and my dog, and was so curious to place the sheets in the washer and even watered my flowers. Truly above and beyond for a dog sitter!

Doggy Day Care • jun. 08, 2026

Jailee took great care of our Cooper. He had his own little play area with lots of toys, TLC and a window with a view. Outside he had a few new furry friends he met while there. They all enjoyed roaming a grassy lawn with a giant oak tree. Cooper would love to go back and visit his new friends. In outside of Fredericksburg. It’s about a 10 minute drive . Thank you Jailee! Will definitely call you when back in town.

Schedule

I’m currently enrolled in college courses online, which gives me a super flexible schedule and allows me to spend most of my time at home with my animals. Since I work from home and don’t have to commute, I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. Your pets will never be left alone for long—I’m usually just a few steps away, whether I’m studying or relaxing with my own dogs. My routine revolves around animal care, so I’m happy to accommodate special feeding times, medication schedules, or extra play sessions. Weekdays and weekends are both open for bookings, and I’m especially available during mornings, afternoons, and early evenings. If you ever need last-minute help, feel free to reach out—I’ve got the flexibility to jump in when needed!

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where your animal will feel secure, loved, and well cared for. I have experience handling pets with medical needs, behavioral quirks, and separation anxiety, so I always pay close attention to body language and individual routines. I never leave pets unattended outside and always use secure leashes, crates, or gates as needed for their safety. My home is free of hazards and is kept tidy and stress-free to create a relaxing space for animals to decompress. You can count on me to treat your pets like family—with patience, kindness, and constant supervision. I also send regular updates with photos or videos so you can stay connected and confident while you’re away. Trust and transparency matter to me, and I want you to feel completely at ease knowing your pets are in responsible, experienced hands.

Pets

A typical day

My days are filled with animals—and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I currently work at a vet clinic and also foster for the Aggieland Humane Society, so I’m very used to being around pets with all kinds of needs and personalities. When I’m not working or in my online college classes (I’m a pre-vet student!), I’m spending time with my own little crew: two mini dachshunds and a cat who thinks she’s a dog. A typical day includes morning potty breaks and breakfast for my pets, then checking in on any Rover pups I’m caring for—whether that means a drop-in, a walk, or a whole day of play. I like to keep things low-stress and fun for the dogs I care for. That might mean a cozy nap on the couch, fetch in the yard, or a slow stroll if they’re older or more laid-back. I’m always keeping a close eye on behavior, making sure everyone feels safe, relaxed, and happy. I love sending updates and cute pics so pet parents feel connected while they’re away!
