Pet care experience
Lifelong Animal Lover
Hi there! I’m Jailee, and I’ve been caring for animals my whole life—from my own pets to those of friends, family, and clients. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, and I’m confident handling everything from daily walks and potty breaks to feeding, administering medications, and providing lots of love and playtime. I’ve worked in veterinary clinics, fostered rescue pets, and even run my own small dachshund breeding program, so I know how to read animal body language and respond calmly in any situation. Whether your pup needs a high-energy walk or a quiet cuddle buddy, I tailor my care to meet their individual needs. You can count on me to treat your pet like one of my own—with patience, compassion, and attention to detail. I’m reliable, communicative, and always happy to send updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in great hands!

Ratings and reviews
Jailee took great care of our Cooper. He had his own little play area with lots of toys, TLC and a window with a view. Outside he had a few new furry friends he met while there. They all enjoyed roaming a grassy lawn with a giant oak tree. Cooper would love to go back and visit his new friends. In outside of Fredericksburg. It’s about a 10 minute drive . Thank you Jailee! Will definitely call you when back in town.

Jailee was excellent. The dogs loved her and she stayed in consistent contact with us. She was easy to communicate with and we would love her to come back.

Jailee was great! She was available last minute. Very fast communication. She sent lots of pictures and videos. Pixie had a great time!

Jailee did great with my dog. She communicated every potty break and feeding. Excellent patience with my dog getting harness on!

We absolutely loved Jailee! She was so easy to work with and communicated with us the entire time during our trip. She treated our cat like her own family and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to take care of our baby!

As Jailee G.’s father, I’ve had the honor of watching her grow into one of the most compassionate, responsible, and driven young women I know—especially when it comes to animals. Jailee is currently a sophomore at Texas A&M University, pursuing her degree in veterinary medicine, a calling she’s been passionate about since childhood. What sets her apart is not just her love for animals, but her hands-on experience—she’s been working as a veterinary technician assistant and veterinary technician since she was just 14 years old. Now at 19, she brings over five years of real-world experience, along with a deep sense of care and professionalism, to every pet she works with. Whether she’s comforting a nervous pup, caring for a senior dog, or simply making sure a pet gets their daily exercise and affection, Jailee approaches every animal with kindness, patience, and knowledge. I’ve watched her rearrange her own schedule just to make sure a pet wasn’t alone or missed a walk. She has a calm, nurturing presence that animals gravitate toward and a strong work ethic that makes her incredibly dependable. Pet parents can have complete confidence knowing their furry family members are in loving, capable, and experienced hands with Jailee. I couldn’t be prouder to recommend her. — John G. (Proud Dad)

Schedule
I’m currently enrolled in college courses online, which gives me a super flexible schedule and allows me to spend most of my time at home with my animals. Since I work from home and don’t have to commute, I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. Your pets will never be left alone for long—I’m usually just a few steps away, whether I’m studying or relaxing with my own dogs. My routine revolves around animal care, so I’m happy to accommodate special feeding times, medication schedules, or extra play sessions. Weekdays and weekends are both open for bookings, and I’m especially available during mornings, afternoons, and early evenings. If you ever need last-minute help, feel free to reach out—I’ve got the flexibility to jump in when needed!

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where your animal will feel secure, loved, and well cared for. I have experience handling pets with medical needs, behavioral quirks, and separation anxiety, so I always pay close attention to body language and individual routines. I never leave pets unattended outside and always use secure leashes, crates, or gates as needed for their safety. My home is free of hazards and is kept tidy and stress-free to create a relaxing space for animals to decompress. You can count on me to treat your pets like family—with patience, kindness, and constant supervision. I also send regular updates with photos or videos so you can stay connected and confident while you’re away. Trust and transparency matter to me, and I want you to feel completely at ease knowing your pets are in responsible, experienced hands.

A typical day
My days are filled with animals—and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I currently work at a vet clinic and also foster for the Aggieland Humane Society, so I’m very used to being around pets with all kinds of needs and personalities. When I’m not working or in my online college classes (I’m a pre-vet student!), I’m spending time with my own little crew: two mini dachshunds and a cat who thinks she’s a dog. A typical day includes morning potty breaks and breakfast for my pets, then checking in on any Rover pups I’m caring for—whether that means a drop-in, a walk, or a whole day of play. I like to keep things low-stress and fun for the dogs I care for. That might mean a cozy nap on the couch, fetch in the yard, or a slow stroll if they’re older or more laid-back. I’m always keeping a close eye on behavior, making sure everyone feels safe, relaxed, and happy. I love sending updates and cute pics so pet parents feel connected while they’re away!
