Availability
I freelance in sports production which means that my schedule can be all over the place, especially during basketball season. Go Kings! I do keep my schedule up to date so my availability is pretty accurate here on Rover. I also volunteer at the SPCA on Thursday mornings so if you reach out to me then, I apologize for the delay! Let me check in on your fur babies and keep your mind at ease with plenty of photos and updates from my visit! Your pet is guaranteed to have a good time with me. I can do early morning or late evening walks to make sure we avoid the heat but your pup still gets to have some time outside.

REQUESTED INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR PET For all pets: -How is your pet around strangers? Can I expect a warm welcome, or will they typically hide when visitors arrive? -What is your pet's favorite toy or way to play? How do they tolerate being touched? -What is their normal baseline for bodily functions like hairballs and pooping? (This way I can monitor for changes) -Is your pet a "bolt risk"? How careful do I need to be opening the front door? -Is your pet spayed/neutered? -Does your pet take any medication? If so, please be as detailed as possible about medical routines. -What is the contact information for your preferred vet, in case of emergency? For Cats: -Is your cat declawed? -Is your cat allowed outside? I'll never leave them outside at the end of my visit but I'm happy to chaperone a short outdoor adventure while I'm around. -Does your cat have FIV or FeLV? (This is not a disqualification, I just need to know to keep other cats safe.) For Dogs: -What commands does your dog know? Are you working on any training that you'd like me to work practice with them? -How is your dog around other dogs? Are dog parks a yes or no? -Any resource guarding or leash aggression issues to keep in mind? -Is your dog kennel trained?
A typical day
I love to take dogs I walk for long walks if they are up for it when it isn’t too hot. Or playing with them with toys inside if it is. If they have a favorite park near your house, I can definitely take them there!

I’m the type of dog walker who lets my dog take his time, and smell the flowers. I believe our pets are only here for a little while, so it’s our job to make sure that time is special. And I won’t rush a pup on a walk.

We always love having Jahaila stay with our pets. She sends us lots of pics and videos. We know our pets will always be taken care of and she is great with communication and very transparent about her schedule.
As always, the peace of mind knowing that Jahaila is watching our fur babies when we are out of town is amazing. She sends lots of pics, which help us feel less anxious while away. The house is always neat and tidy as well. :)
