Information Jael T. would like to know about your pet

It is important to know if the dog has anxiety towards specific people, places, or things. This helps me be on the look out to keep the interaction low stress and enjoyable for the dog. I also like to know what the dogs biggest motivation: praise, pets, or treats. This helps build the trust with the dog.

A typical day

I like to play fetch and go in walks with the dog I watch. I like to change pace while walking and walk new routes often. This gives the dog more variety and smells. It helps to mentally exercise them as well as physically.

Pet care experience

Long time pet lover. We currently we have one dog: Lily, a seven year old lab mix and a three year old cat. I have a dog grooming business as well so adding that feature to a boarding is a breeze. I have been a certified dog trainer for four years and have enjoyed working with my clients to help their dogs overcome challenges after being adopted from a rescue. I know simple tricks to help your pups unset stomach with a simple easy to digest diet of rice and chicken. Also, can calm anxiety with an ace wrap and a gentle walk. I love getting to know an animal’s personality and working one-on-one training and engaging their minds.

Jael is awesome! Communicative, trustworthy, & kind. Plus, she gave my little guy a fantastic haircut (his first one) ❤️ would certainly recommend!

Nesta came home happy, though she had a lot of energy and was very thirsty. I unfortunately had to ask for an update/photo, which I wasn’t expecting to have to do based on previous reviews. Also, upon arriving for dropoff, Jael let us know that part of their fence is down so Nesta would be leashed while outside. Part of our choosing Jael was based on having a backyard as Nesta is high energy and loves to run. If we’d known that we may have selected a different person.
