English is below: Hallo! Ich bin Jael (ausgesprochen Ya-el). Ich bin im November aus Indien nach Köln gezogen. Ich spreche Englisch und Tamil und lerne gerade Deutsch (A1). In Indien habe ich 5 Hunde und 6 Katzen gerettet und versorgt. Meine Schwester und ich haben alles gemacht: Spaziergänge, Baden und medizinische Pflege für Tiere von 2 Wochen bis 12 Jahren. Seit Februar betreue ich Hunde, Katzen und Schildkröten in und um Köln und habe gute Kunden. Ich biete Gassi gehen, Hausbesuche und Haussitting an. Ich achte immer auf den Komfort und die Bedürfnisse Ihres Hundes. Jeder Hund ist anders – ich nehme mir Zeit und passe mich an. Seit ich hier bin, vermisse ich Tiere sehr. Ich kümmere mich um Ihr Tier wie um mein eigenes. (PS: Meine Tiere in Indien werden von meiner Familie liebevoll betreut!) English: Hello! I'm Jael (pronounced Ya-el). I moved to Cologne from India last November. I speak English and Tamil, and I’m currently learning German (A1). In India, I rescued and cared for 5 dogs and 6 cats. My sister and I handled everything—daily walks, bathing, and specialized medical care for animals ranging from 2 week old kittens to 12 year old senior dogs. Since February, I’ve been pet sitting dogs, cats, and tortoises in and around Köln, building a strong and happy client base. I offer dog walks, home visits, and house sitting, always prioritizing your dog’s comfort and dignity. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality—whether they need long structured walks, medical care, or simply patience and calm companionship. I adapt fully to their routine and always clean up after them. Since moving here, I’ve missed having animals around, and I care for every pet as if they were my own. (PS: My furry family in India is happily cared for by my family!)

Harmonogram
ENGLISH BELOW Ich mache derzeit einen Deutschkurs. Dieser findet montags bis donnerstags bis 13:30 Uhr statt. An diesen Tagen stehe ich ab 14:00 Uhr zur Verfügung. An den übrigen Tagen richte ich mich ganz nach Ihnen. I am currently doing my German language course. It runs till 13:30 Mon-Thurs. On these days, I am available after 14:00. On other days, I am available as per your convenience.

ENGLISH BELOW Ich biete flexible Betreuung, je nachdem, was am besten für dich und deine Katze passt. Bei Besuchen in deinem Zuhause komme ich zu dir nach Hause, um deine Katze zu füttern, mit ihr zu spielen und Zeit mit ihr in ihrer gewohnten, komfortablen Umgebung zu verbringen – das ist perfekt, wenn deine Katze lieber zuhause bleibt. Wenn du möchtest, betreue ich deine Katze auch gerne bei mir zu Hause: Ich habe eine geräumige 2,5-Zimmer-Wohnung im 18. Stock in Köln Porz mit viel Tageslicht und einen Balkon (der aus Sicherheitsgründen immer geschlossen bleibt). Mein Zuhause ist ruhig und katzenfreundlich, ideal für Übernachtungen oder längere Besuche, wo deine Katze Gesellschaft hat, ohne allein zu sein. In beiden Fällen wird deine Katze sich wohlfühlen, sicher sein und gut versorgt. I offer flexible care depending on what works best for you and your cat. For in-home visits, I come to your place to feed, play, and spend quality time with your pet in their own comfortable environment. If you'd prefer, I also care for cats at my place: I have a spacious 2.5 room flat on the 18th floor in Köln Porz with plenty of natural light and a balcony (which stays securely closed for safety). My home is calm and cat-friendly, great for overnight stays or longer visits where your cat gets companionship without the stress of being alone. Either way, your cat will be comfortable, safe, and well-cared-for.

As your sitter, I’d observe and adapt, not follow a fixed checklist. However, these activities will be provided: Care for cats of all ages—from playful 3-month-old kittens to relaxed seniors. 1. Interactive play sessions tailored to each cat’s energy level (wand play, chase games, climbing) 2. Gentle training and positive behavior reinforcement 3. Grooming support (brushing, light cleaning, hygiene checks, nail trimming) 4. Cuddles, comfort, and trust-building time 5. Enrichment activities to keep them mentally stimulated (Puzzle feeders, treat game) 6. Consistent feeding, fresh water, and litter box care
