We are Jaecy & Joe! While this is Jaecy's page and business, Joe is the boyfriend-roommate-fellow dog lover who is always happy to lend a helping hand with clients. Hello, Dog Parents! My name is Jaecy and I grew up spending a lot of time at her aunt's dog grooming shop, so caretaking of fur babies came quite naturally to me. As a devoted dog mom of 12+ years, I’ve also taken care of other people’s dogs for the better part of 2 decades. I’m passionate about providing loving care, especially to senior dogs and rescues. Patience and kindness are the forefront of my practice. My spoiled pup is named Lucky. He’s the center of our universe. If you choose to board with us, please note that Lucky LOVES making new friends. If you choose for me to stay overnight with your pet, Lucky will stay home with Joe. When I take on a new client, it's important that we introduce ourselves prior to the stay. I like to come meet the dog in their space a week before. If we’re unable to due to scheduling conflicts, I make a point to at least have a video call beforehand. A little more about me: I work in higher education, love an audio book and a strong espresso. My home with Lucky and Joe is a one-stop-shop for play, cuddles, and physical fitness (no day is complete without multiple daily walks). I’m fortunate to be able to work from home with lots of scheduling flexibility. As a previous homeowner, i understand how important it is to trust the person you hire to stay with your pet. Rest assured your fur babies, whether they be actual young'ns or beloved seniors and/or your home will be safe in my care. **Please note that I am deathly allergic to cats and cannot accept a sitting gig that includes a cat. Even if a cat was previously in the home and is no longer there, it’s important to have carpets and floors completely deep cleaned to eradicate the dander.
