i unfortunately can’t host because i have 2 very spoiled & antisocial cats. however, i have experience caring for all kinds of pets in all kinds of living situations & will make the most out of wherever your location is! i’ve been in philly for 4 years now & am familiar with most of the city’s parks & routes.

i’d like to know your dog’s dietary restrictions (allergies, etc.) & other sensitivities ahead of time. their health & well-being is my #1 priority! i’ve also found it helpful to know if they have any naughty habits (i.e. eating trash from the ground), so that i can help navigate them. i prefer to stick to pre-established routines if there are any, so please let me know about daily feeding & walk times! i’m good at handling reactive pups (easily scared/worked up & should avoid other dogs) as well as separation anxiety, but need a heads-up.
A typical day
my favorite things to do with furry friends include playing games like hide-and-seek that can be both fun & enriching! i’m also a big fan of cuddles when pups are feeling sleepy/chill. i used to (casually/non-professionally) train dogs how to walk for dog shows & perform tricks, so if your dog already knows a few, i’d love to engage them that way. i love to take dogs to nearby parks & secret spots on campus during walks! i think it’s important for pups to enjoy greenery & a car-free, open space.

hi! my name is jae & i’ve been a pet sitter and dog walker since 2010! i’ve been a cat parent since 2014 & have tons of cat-sitting experience as well. i’m based in university city currently. i’ve provided care for dogs of all kinds & ages (from tiny terrier seniors to rowdy retrievers & pitbulls) but do have a soft spot for spaniels as i grew up with a sweet cavalier :-) i also have some experience training dogs how to walk for shows & do basic tricks. i pride myself in working with your needs/preferences (whether it’s training for reactive dogs or medication), building a relationship with both you & your pet, & making sure dog walks are 100% safe in any environment (a skill i honed while walking anxious pups in big cities like nyc). i’m communicative (expect tons of photos & stories about your pet), adaptable, & committed to your pet’s joy & wellbeing most of all. i care deeply about all furry friends & would love to meet yours!

Jae cared for my dog so well and I can tell Maybellene really loved her. She sent lots of pictures and good updates and it was wonderful to not worry while I was away.
Jae is wonderful! She kept my pup company while I was out of town for the day. Jae sent me updates and photos throughout her visits to let me know Zeke was being taken care of. Really appreciated this!
