While I haven’t personally owned a dog, I have spent the last three years living with a roommate and their dog and cat. This experience has made me very comfortable with the daily responsibilities of pet ownership, from sticking to strict feeding schedules to managing high-energy walks. I’ve developed a great intuition for animal body language and pride myself on being a calm, patient presence. As a graduate student at NYU, I am highly organized and dependable. I have a deep love for all animals and have always had positive, friendly interactions with the pets of friends and family. I’m excited to provide your fur baby with the same level of care and attention I give to my own "roommate" pets!

Jae sent us so many pictures of Peyton! He seemed super in-tune with her and provided so many updates throughout the day. She loved her time with him!
Jae Hoon was so great with my dog! I booked him last minute for my ten day trip, and he was wonderful. He sent me pictures and updates throughout the day and treated my Bola like a princess. I’ll def book with him again!
Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Jae is very caring and compassionate, which was especially nice for Martini who has severe separation anxiety. Jae was able to understand Martini and attended to her needs in a way not many sitters are able to. When I picked her up she was calm and resting which was a rare sight to see as she is usually stressed when I pick her up. Would definitely recommend Jae as a sitter!!

Schedule
I am a Master’s student taking classes at NYU Dental School, which is just a 10-minute walk from my apartment. My class schedule is very predictable, and outside of those brief windows, I am almost always at home studying. This means your pet will rarely be alone and will receive plenty of companionship and "study break" playtime throughout the day. I am available for boarding, house sitting, and frequent walks during the week and on weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in the Stuytown community, which is incredibly pet-friendly and perfect for active dogs. My apartment is clean, safe, and spacious. Just steps from my door are beautiful grass fields and designated fenced-in dog runs where your pet can safely play off-leash and socialize. For safety, I always keep dogs on a lead when walking through the community and closely monitor them during play. Since I am home most of the day, I can provide constant supervision. I am also happy to follow any specific crating or training routines you have in place to ensure your pet feels right at home.
