I started Rover as a way to stay busy in between jobs and I’ve found that I really like caring for pets! I’m now in the process of starting my new job in mid-August, so most of my availability will be on the weekends in the near future. I also have some weekday availability for evening drop ins or walks. I would love to care for your pets while you’re away or just when you need an extra hand!

I want to be as consistent with your pet’s normal routines as possible while also spending time playing with them. I understand it can be hard for pets when their owner isn’t around, so I want to make an effort to keep them feeling secure and happy.

Pet care experience
Hi! I've been a dog owner since I was 7 years old. Since then, my love for animals has only grown stronger. Currently, I have a 3 year old Corgi named Jasper. I've learned a lot about dogs since adopting him and I'm always looking for new ways to keep him entertained. For example, making DIY puzzle games during mealtime, teaching him tricks (both useful and for fun), and taking him to new places. Jasper also tends to be anxious, so I have experience with putting in a great deal of work to make dogs comfortable. I also have experience looking after family members' dogs while they're away, including senior dogs.

Jade is great and loves to take care of pets! She has helped watch our dogs when we have been on vacation and is very dependable. She always plays with them and walks them. I trust her to make sure my dogs are safe and happy. The dogs are always excited to see her.
Jade is a very attentive pet owner who really cares about the details of taking care of animals. She puts a lot of effort into meeting pets' needs, following their routines, and making them comfortable. She also knows a lot about and pays attention to the body language of the animals in her care. I would highly recommend her for any type of pet care.
