Hi! I’m an experienced and attentive pet sitter who truly treats every animal like my own. I’ve grown up caring for a full house of pets, including my 7-year-old Mini Aussie, Winston, my 5-year-old Border Collie/Shepherd mix, Wilbur, and three cats—Binx (who is a tripod), Salem (who has one blind eye), and Sadie. Because of this, I’m very comfortable caring for pets with special needs, senior pets, and animals with different personalities and energy levels. I regularly care for my friend’s senior Retriever who requires daily medication, short walks only, and extra assistance getting on and off the couch. This has given me hands-on experience with medication schedules, mobility support, and understanding senior pets’ limits while still keeping them comfortable and happy. I’ve trained all of my dogs since they were puppies, including basic obedience, leash manners, and positive reinforcement training, so I’m confident working with puppies as well as adult dogs. I pet sit regularly for friends and family and also have experience caring for cats, small mammals, reptiles, lizards, and snakes. I’m patient, gentle, and very observant, and I always pay close attention to each pet’s needs and behavior. I’m home most of the time while completing online college, which means your pet will receive plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision. I have a backyard for playtime and can provide walks every 1–2 hours if needed. I’m also happy to do dog park visits for social pups (with owner approval). Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities, and I work hard to make sure they feel loved, secure, and at home while you’re away.

Schedule
Pet care fits easily into my daily schedule because I attend college online and am home most of the day. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, walks every 1–2 hours if needed, meals on schedule, medication administration, and plenty of playtime and affection. I plan my coursework around the pets in my care, so their routines always come first. Your pet will never be left alone for long and will receive lots of attention throughout the day.

When caring for pets in my own home or in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as close to normal as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special care needs. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and mental stimulation while also respecting their limits—especially for seniors or pets with medical needs. In my home, pets have a safe, calm environment with access to a backyard, frequent potty breaks, regular walks, and lots of companionship since I’m home most of the day. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and ensure pets feel relaxed by maintaining familiar routines, playtime, and comfort. I provide regular updates and photos, monitor behavior and health closely, and always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and communication. My goal is for every pet to feel loved, cared for, and stress-free while their owner is away.

A typical day
When caring for dogs through Rover, I focus on making their time fun, enriching, and comfortable. Activities can include neighborhood walks or park strolls, plenty of sniff time, play sessions like fetch or tug-of-war, and mental stimulation through basic training practice or puzzle toys. I also enjoy providing calm companionship with cuddles, brushing, and downtime for dogs who prefer a more relaxed pace. I always tailor activities to each dog’s energy level, personality, and routine to make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while in my care.

- Before caring for a dog, it’s really helpful for owners to let me know their dog’s routine, personality, and energy level. I like to know about any fears, triggers, or behavior quirks, what commands they know, and any training preferences. Please also share feeding instructions, treats, and any medical needs or medications, as well as house rules, potty routines, and emergency contacts. Having all this information helps me keep your dog safe, happy, and comfortable while in my care. Also with having cats and dogs in my home, it’s 100% important to know if they are friendly with cats and other dogs.
