Loving Care While You’re Away
As a lifelong pet owner myself, I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether your pet loves adventures, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, or simply sticking to their usual routine, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and at home. 🐾❤️ Healthcare professionals can leave their dog with me for their 12hour+ shifts. I am a nurse and I understand the difficulties in accessing daycare that works for you. _________________ Important: As I have my own dog, I can only accept dogs that are friendly and comfortable around other dogs. For the safety and wellbeing of all pets in my care, dogs must be neutered/spayed. I also require a meet and greet before any booking to ensure the dogs are comfortable with each other and that your pet will be happy, relaxed, and safe in my home. I carefully manage introductions and household spaces so that all animals in my care can feel safe, relaxed, and secure.

Schedule
I live with my dog, Simba, and my 17-year-old cat, Tiger, so my routine naturally revolves around caring for them, including walks, feeding, playtime, enrichment, grooming, and making sure they are happy and comfortable. I work at an hospital, and my pet-sitting availability varies weekly so please check my calender. I’m used to planning my days around animals’ needs and routines, and I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and companionship. As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and caring for them is something I do because I love it, not just as a service. Your pet will receive plenty of attention, affection, and care while they’re with me. 🐾❤️

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in my home, their safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I have a secure, fenced garden for dogs to enjoy supervised outdoor time, and my home is a calm, pet-friendly environment. For added security, I also have CCTV covering the property. I always follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medication, routines, and any specific requirements. I understand that pets can feel unsettled when away from home, so I do my best to maintain their usual routine and provide plenty of attention, reassurance, and enrichment. I live with my friendly dog, Simba, and my 17-year-old cat, Tiger, so I’m experienced in managing a multi-pet household and recognising individual needs and personalities. I’ll ensure pets are fed, exercised, kept company, and cared for according to their normal routine, while also providing updates and photos for peace of mind. 🐾❤️

A typical day
Keeping dogs happy, engaged, and fulfilled is something I really enjoy. Every dog in my care will receive appropriate exercise, enrichment, and plenty of attention based on their age, energy levels, and individual needs. Dogs staying for daycare may join me and Simba on adventures to local woods, the countryside, the Peak District, or National Parks, where we can enjoy long walks and explore new environments. Your dog’s safety will always come first. Dogs will remain on a lead unless the owner has confirmed they have reliable recall and are happy for them to be off lead. For home-based daycare or boarding, dogs will have access to my large, secure garden where they can play, explore, sniff, and relax. During the warmer months, I also have a large dog-friendly pool for supervised water play and cooling off. Alongside physical exercise, I like to provide mental enrichment through games, sniffing activities, problem-solving exercises, training practice, and interactive play. I believe a mentally stimulated dog is just as important as a physically exercised one. Whether your dog enjoys hiking adventures, playing in the garden, swimming, sniffing games, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll tailor their day to make sure they have fun, stay safe, and return home happy and content.
