🌺 ALOHA Y'all! 🌺 My name is Jade Lovelace, but you're welcome to call me Aunty Jade! I moved to beautiful SoCal in 2020 with my senior cat, Admiral Friday. A Little About Me I grew up in TX surrounded by animals. My mom was a veterinary technician and in high school I worked alongside my grandparents on their ranch caring for horses, large dogs, barn cats, a catfish pond, and even a very friendly garden snake! As the oldest, I've always been in charge of home/pet care for my family, so my experience with animal care has been life-long & I've been professionally pet sitting since 2018 when I first joined Rover. My first pet that was truly mine came later while I was living in Hawaii. She was a Maui rescue—half Labrador, half Pointer—and she never left my side. I adopted her on Friday the 13th, and she absolutely changed my life. She had severe separation anxiety and it was through her that I was really able to get first hand training into how to care for high anxiety pets. Through her I met incredible trainers, veterinarians, shelter owners, and groomers who taught me so much about canine behavior, enrichment, and how to give the best care for separation anxiety. Although she's no longer with me, she'll always be the reason I fell so deeply in love with caring for animals. These days I'm the very proud mom of my senior kitty, Admiral Friday (or just Friday). I always joke that she adopted me! Caring for her has sparked an included passion for feline behavior & senior cat care. I am now well versed in medication routines, feline enrichment, and even trick training. What Your Pet's Stay Looks Like Every pet is different, so I tailor their care around their personality and routine. If your pet enjoys adventures, we'll have plenty of: 🐾 Walks 🎾 Playtime 🌊 Dog parks & beach outings (when appropriate) 🚗 Car rides ❤️ Lots of cuddles and affection I'm an adventurous person by nature, so if your dog (or adventure-loving cat!) enjoys hikes or exploring, I'd love to include those too. For my senior, special-needs, or lower-energy friends, I'm just as happy spending quiet quality time, offering enrichment, gentle care, medication support, and lots of love. My Experience I've cared for pets for friends, family, and Rover clients for years, including many long-term house sits while owners were deployed or traveling. Some fun milestones: • Longest Rover house sit: 27 days (4 cats & 2 large dogs) • Largest household: 4 dogs, 4 cats, a frog, and fish! Large families and multi-pet households don't intimidate me—they're honestly some of my favorites! A Little About My Schedule I'm currently a full-time student at Fullerton College & run a small travel to you business as a Traveling Massage Therapists Fridays - Sundays. If your pet has medication schedules or specialized care requirements, I simply ask for as much advance notice as possible (ideally about a month) so I can customize my schedule and provide the consistency they deserve. During our Meet & Greet, we'll go over everything—from routines and medications to favorite toys, quirks, and expectations—so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, and loved. My Home I live in a cozy apartment with my roommate and my senior kitty, Admiral Friday. When appropriate and with your pet's comfort in mind, I may bring them along for a little visit! My apartment has a pet-safe patio with pet grass, toys, beds, bowls, and plenty of high-value treats. We'll discuss all scheduling details during our Meet & Greet to make sure everyone is comfortable. Safety, trust & environment
When I'm house sitting, your pet's routine is my priority. I spend the evenings and overnight in your home, providing companionship, dinner and breakfast, medications, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any specialized care they require. I'm also happy to bring in mail or packages, water plants, and help keep your home just as you left it. My apartment is thoughtfully set up as a cozy, pet-friendly space for boarding and daycare. Pets have access to a secure patio with pet grass, fresh water, and a relaxing outdoor area. Inside, I have a gated enrichment space complete with toys, cozy bedding, a water fountain, and treats to help them feel comfortable and at home. To help create a calm, low-stress environment, I also use fear-free practices such as calming pheromone diffusers, pet-safe aromatherapy, and relaxing music whenever appropriate for your pet.

Jade did a great job of taking care of our dog, Lily, while we were on vacation out of the country. She was very responsive and sent us pictures daily. She left our home in great condition as well. Our pup was excited to see us when we returned, but not overly excited, which made it clear that she was well taken care of and well entertained while we were gone. We would definitely recommend Jade to other pet owners and plan to hire her again in the future!
Jade was super friendly, took all the needs of my older kitty in stride, was quickly responsive to all my messages, and left the place very clean after her stay. Thanks for the peace of mind, Jade!
Jade did an amazing job taking care of Naiah and our home! This was the first time we’ve ever left Naiah with someone and come back to find her completely at ease. Usually, she’s ultra clingy, anxious, and hesitant to leave our sides—but this time, it was like we had never left. Jade kept us updated with tons of pictures and videos, and it was so heartwarming to see Naiah happy, relaxed, and enjoying her little adventures. It’s clear Jade cared for her just like we would. I would highly recommend Jade to anyone looking for someone to care for their senior dog. Her warm, loving energy truly put Naiah at ease. We’re so grateful to have found someone we can trust with our girl!!

Jade house-sat and took care of our senior shih tzu over Christmas while we were on vacation. She was so kind and attentive, and sent lots of photo updates and videos so we never worried about our home or our baby while we were away. Communication was excellent, and she left the house clean and gave our pup lots of fun social outings. We'll definitely book Jade again!

Schedule
When accepting bookings, I always prioritize your pet's routine. I schedule my classes and massage appointments around their care whenever possible, ensuring they receive timely walks, meals, medications, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. I'm currently a full-time student at Fullerton College, so during the semester I'm generally in class between **7:00 AM and 2:00/3:00 PM**, depending on the day. I'm also a Neuromuscular Massage Therapist providing travel to you massage services throughout Orange County. Appointments typically take **3 1/2 - 4 hrs ** (including travel), Fri - Sun and I do not schedule clients after **8:00 PM**. During our Meet & Greet, I'll walk you through exactly what a typical day will look like, answer any questions, and, if you'd like I will provide a detailed itinerary so you know exactly what to expect while you're away.
