Pet care experience
All my best friends have paws!
Currently studying Veterinary Medicine at the University of Calgary. I’ve grown up around animals of my own my whole life while living rurally - ranging from bunnies, to chickens, to cats and dogs and goats - so in terms of pets of my own, I have lots of experience with a variety of animals. I’ve also spent the last 4 years gaining experience as a Veterinary Assistant, where I’ve gained valuable skills such as medication administration, prescription diet maintenance, and proper animal handling & body language training. Through clinic experience, I’ve cared for cats and dogs, and have also been lucky enough to become comfortable with birds, cows, horses, and sheep. I understand that all pets are different, and I am happy to say that one of my strengths is adjusting how I handle, play with, feed, and care for a pet depending on what is best for their personality. I’d love to spend time with animals of all sorts while I’m in the city for school, so I’d be happy to take care of a furry friend when it’s needed :)

Schedule
While I am both a full time student and part time Veterinary Assistant, I’ve created a schedule that allows for me to dedicate a few days of the week to pet sitting.

I am currently in a basement suite that does not allow pets. That being said, I live in a nice neighborhood with a nearby park that is great for fetch!

A typical day
As mentioned before, I’m eager to accommodate my pet sitting routine to your pet’s energy levels, needs, and personality. Whether it be planning a walk around the neighbourhood to the park for play, or taking it easy at home for lots of cuddles, my pet sitting days are time allotted for your pet and your pet only.
