Flexible and caring cat lover
Hi cat lovers, my name is Jade, I work remotely in communications which means I am very flexible with my time. I have two cats myself, Magic and Arty (Moriarty, he lives up to the name) and I have over 10 years of cat care experience. I am a huge pet lover overall, but cats really top the list. I just love their personalities and the fact they don’t really care what others think about them, they just do what they want! I read a quote somewhere once that said “If you ever think you have imposter syndrome, just look at cats. No cats have imposter syndrome, they all believe they are the best cat that ever did live!” I can happily do medications, I had a cat called Puff who sadly passed away last year. He had daily heart medications for years, so I am very experienced with doing that. I’ve also looked after a couple of local kitties in the area for neighbours, including another cat recovering from a leg operation (requiring a crate) and needing pain meds twice a day.

Jade took time and trouble to get to know our cat and make sure he was comfortable with her. When she visited she stayed to play with him, give TLC and reassure him, as he isn’t used to being alone (his brother died recently). We could see from the pics she shared and his happy presentation when we got home that all was very good. Really appreciate her kindness and cat-centred approach, and hope she will come again!

Jade cat sat for the second time for us and our cats were pleased to see her again which is undoubtedly a good sign! This time was more complex as Leo was in need of wound cleaning and antibiotic and steroid treatment but she handled it without issue and we came home to a cat looking healthier than when we left!

Jade was excellent. She took the time to come meet the cats ahead of the cat sitting and spend time listening to us ramble on about all their quirks. The cats warmed up to her quickly. She was very communicative and sent updates every day with videos and pictures. There were no issues and she held onto keys in case of travel disturbances. Great!
