I currently have a flexible schedule and am generally available for walks and drop-in visits during the late morning and afternoon. I also have availability in the early mornings, typically between 6–8 AM, and in the evenings, with 3–7 PM being my preferred window. Because I have a few recurring family responsibilities, I keep my Rover calendar updated and confirm each request based on the specific time and your pet’s routine.

For walks and drop-in visits, I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and prioritize safety, comfort, and clear communication. Before the first booking, I prefer to schedule a meet and greet so I can get to know your pet, learn how they communicate, and make sure we are a good match. This also gives us time to review feeding instructions, allergies, medications, approved play areas, off-limit spaces, leash or harness use, favorite toys, behavioral triggers, and any other important care details. I will only use foods, treats, toys, equipment, and supplies that have been approved by the owner. I also make sure doors, gates, crates, and pet areas are secure before leaving and will provide updates so you know how your pet is doing during each visit.

I’m comfortable with all breeds within the size range listed on my profile. Before caring for your pet, I’d like to know about any medications, allergies, dietary restrictions, health concerns, fears, triggers, escape habits, or behaviors I should watch for. Please also share any household rules, off-limit areas, walking preferences, and approved treats or toys. For multi-pet homes, it is especially helpful to know how the pets interact with one another, whether they should be fed or given treats separately, if they share toys safely, and whether they can be walked or played with together. I’d also like to know about any resource guarding, rough play, tension, or situations where the pets should be separated. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can keep everyone safe, comfortable, and happy!
A typical day
A typical visit can include neighborhood walks, park strolls, fetch, enrichment toys, playtime, and plenty of pets and cuddles. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine or mix things up based on their energy level and personality. I can prep Kongs, lick mats, or other approved enrichment activities, and I’m comfortable playing indoors, in a secure backyard, or in a fenced area. For safety, I do not allow off-leash play in public spaces or around unfamiliar dogs. Other than that, I’m flexible and happy to tailor each visit so your pet feels safe, entertained, and cared for.

I’ve been around dogs and cats for most of my life and have been caring for them independently since I was 18. My experience includes feeding, walking, bathing, playtime, puppy and potty training, litter box cleaning, house sitting, and keeping pet areas clean and tidy. I’ve cared for pets with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels, and I understand that every animal has their own comfort level and routine. I’m patient, attentive, and respectful of pets who may need a little extra time or space to warm up. I also understand basic pet safety, including common foods and household items that can be harmful to dogs and cats. Whenever possible, I prefer to schedule a meet and greet before booking so your pet and I can get comfortable with each other and make sure we’re a great match!
