My day starts early with breakfast around 8am before the school run. I do the school drop-off at 8:30am and I’m back home by 9am ready for morning walks and pet care. Late mornings are usually spent out walking, playing and giving dogs plenty of exercise and attention. Lunch is around 12pm followed by more walks or outdoor time, depending on the dog’s needs. My partner works from home, so there is almost always someone in the house during the day which means dogs are rarely left alone. In the afternoon and early evening we head out for more walks before dinner around 5:30pm. Evenings are relaxed with cuddles, settling down and a final toilet break or short walk before bedtime around 10pm. Your dog will be treated like part of the family and included in our daily routine

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog’s safety, happiness and comfort are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving home environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and personalities and always take the time to understand each dog’s routine, behaviour and needs. Walks are carried out safely using secure leads and suitable walking routes, with plenty of exercise, attention and fresh water. At home, dogs have space to relax and settle wherever they feel comfortable. My partner works from home, so there is almost always someone in the house, meaning dogs are rarely left alone. I also have a friendly dog at home who is used to being around other dogs. In addition, I have a young child who has grown up around animals and is very gentle with them, so I do ask that any dogs staying with us are friendly and comfortable around children. I’m always happy to arrange a meet and greet before a booking so both you and your dog can feel completely comfortable and confident they’re in safe hands.

Information Jade B. would like to know about your pet
Before your dog stays with us, I like to get to know them as much as possible so I can keep their routine consistent and make them feel right at home. I’ll usually ask for things like: • Vet details (just in case of emergencies – hopefully never needed, but always important to have) • Vaccination status – dogs need to be up to date to stay with us • Feeding routine – what they eat, how much, and what times they’re used to • Any dietary requirements or allergies I also love to understand their personality and daily needs, so I’ll ask about: • Energy levels, are they full of beans or more chilled? 🛤️ • Walk requirements, how long they’re used to, how often, and what they enjoy (lead walks, free running, sniffy walks etc.) 🥎 🐾 • Toilet routine, how often they usually go out so I can stick to what they’re used to • Any quirks or behaviours I should know about (we all know every dog has their “thing” 😂) • What they enjoy most; toys, cuddles, space, company, routines For comfort, I always recommend bringing: • Their usual food 🥘 • A blanket or bed from home (this really helps them settle!) 🛌 • A favourite toy if they have one 🥎 The more I know, the better I can match their normal routine and make their stay as stress-free and happy as possible. I treat every dog as an individual, not a “one routine fits all”, so the little details really matter to me 🐾
A typical day
A typical day in our home is busy, active, a little bit chaotic at times, but full of love and attention, perfect for dogs who enjoy being part of a real family environment rather than a quiet kennel setting. Our mornings start early. Dogs are let out for a toilet break first thing, then fed and given time to wake up properly. We do the school run at 8:30, and after that I head to the gym – so it’s quite an active household. While I’m out, dogs are never left alone, they’ll be at home with my partner Luke, who works from home, so there’s always someone around. Once I’m back from the gym, the day properly gets going. This usually includes walks tailored to your dog, whether that’s a proper adventure for higher-energy dogs, or shorter, slower walks for puppies or older dogs with plenty of sniff breaks and rest. At home, dogs are part of everything. They can relax in the living space, follow us around, or if owners are happy with it, you’ll often find them sprawled out on the bed getting comfy 🛌! I want them to feel completely at home here, not restricted or stressed🐾 We mix the day up with playtime, attention, and some gentle structure, things like lead practice, calm behaviour, and settling time 😴 I’m very hands-on and always keeping an eye on how each dog is feeling, making sure they’re not overwhelmed and are getting the right balance of activity and rest🫶🏻 I do have a young son, so dogs staying with us need to be comfortable around children. He’s grown up around dogs, and all interactions are always supervised to keep things safe and calm for everyone. Evenings are much more relaxed, dinner time, a final wander or garden time, then settling down together as a family👩❤️👨👶🐶 Dogs usually end up curled up with us, enjoying the cosy side of home life. Every dog is treated like one of our own here. Whether they’re full of energy, a bit nervous, or just love a cuddle, I’ll make sure they feel safe, settled, and properly cared for.

Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Jade, a huge animal lover who has grown up around dogs and horses my whole life. I offer fun, safe walks and loving home-from-home stays. Dogs in my care get plenty of exercise, attention and cuddles, and I always treat them like part of the family. I’m confident with dogs of all sizes, especially larger breeds, and I’m used to strong, energetic dogs who love a good adventure. At home your dog will be welcomed into a calm, loving environment with my friendly dog Reggie. I also have a young 5 year old son who has grown up around animals and is very gentle with them. Whether it’s a walk, daycare or a sleepover, my goal is always the same — a happy, safe and tired pup by the end of the day!
Reviews

Kona enjoys his stays with Jade and family. He is well cared for, entertained and it so nice to see the love Jade has for all dogs.

Jade was absolutely amazing with Bruce. Keeping us fully updated and sending photos and videos really helps putting your mind at ease. He has loved his time there and we will definitely be back! Couldn’t recommend Jade enough

First time using Jade and I’ll definitely use Jade again! She made sure to keep me updated with how Winnie was getting on and send me loads of photos which made my heart melt, Winnie had the bestest day to the point where she didn’t even want to get back in the car! Jade looks after your pup like she’s her own and it’s amazing to have that when it’s needed!
