I am currently working full-time at Community Medical Center, so I have long days. However, I am very used to going on long walks and runs, as my dog back home is a border collie-German shepherd mix! I work up to 8-hour days, but I always give at least 1.5 hours of walks/play time (for those that need it)! For those with less physical ability, I believe sniffari's tire them out just as much!

I live in a house with my roommates' dog, and as a renter, I wouldn't bring another dog into the space out of respect for our landlord. However, I am more than willing to come over for drop-in visits or just take them for walks/runs! I am confident in my ability to keep them safe while on walks and understand the boundaries of home, whether that be only outside, in the crate when inside, only in a certain part of the house when inside, etc. I want you, as an owner, to feel safe leaving your pets with me, and I will always follow any directions you leave.

I need to know your dog's restrictions, how long a typical play session lasts, what toys are their favorites, and whether they are okay with other dogs. I also find it very important to know what commands you use in order to ensure safe handling and avoid confusing your dog.
A typical day
I would love to take your dogs along the trail that follows the river. Or up to nearby trails in Blue Mountain, Pattee Canyon, or the Rattlesnake to allow some good exercise and energy releaser! These places allow for some social interaction, but they aren't too populated, so they don't lead to conflicts. Most importantly, I want to go where the owner is comfortable and where everyone can enjoy the experience.

Pet care experience
Being raised on a farm, I have been taking care of animals since I was little. Dogs, cats, and horses have all relied on me to feed and care for them. By providing quality care, I have been asked by family and friends to tend to their animals when needed. I have experience caring for puppies, dogs both big and small, and elderly dogs. I understand the need for a schedule for an animal and follow the specific instructions required for each one.
