Hi, I’m Jacquie! 🐾 Rover is my full-time job, caring for animals is what I do every day. I’m home most of the day, which gives me the flexibility to be present, attentive, and available for the pets staying with me or in my care. I’m lucky enough to do it alongside my partner, Merlyn, who is also on our Rover account. I’m the primary sitter and your main point of contact, while Merlyn helps out when needed. We stay coordinated on schedules, routines, instructions, and everything your pet needs, so you always know who’s caring for them and your pet gets consistent care. And we’re not dog only! We love cats and other pets just as much. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, independent, clingy, elderly, nervous, or convinced they’re the center of the universe, we’re happy to work with their personality and routine. Why people choose us! 🛡️ We’re independently insured Rover provides protections for bookings made through their platform, but we also carry our own professional pet care insurance for an additional layer of protection and peace of mind. Proof of insurance is available upon request. 🏠 Pet care is my full-time job! Because Rover is my full-time job, I’m able to make your pet a priority and give them plenty of love, attention, and companionship throughout the day. And with two sets of hands between me and Merlyn, there’s always an extra person around to help when needed! 📸 We keep you in the loop Expect pictures and videos while you’re away. We know that seeing your pet happy and comfortable makes being apart a whole lot easier! 🐾 We respect the individual pet Not every dog wants to play with another dog. Not every cat wants to be your new best friend on day one. We don't force interactions. We follow their cues, respect their space, and give them time to settle in. 👩🏻🤝👩🏻 Two women, no men in the household If your pet is nervous around men, that can be a huge plus for us, one less thing for them to worry about! We also have a sweet pug of our own, so our home is already used to having furry friends around. We can accommodate pets who love company as well as pets who need their own space. At the end of the day, we know you’re not just leaving us a pet, you’re leaving us a member of your family. We take that trust seriously and want you to feel completely comfortable while you’re away. Whether you need boarding, house sitting, drop-ins, walks, or care for your dog, cat or another pet, we’d love to meet you and your furry family. ❤️

Jacquie did fantastic with our Shih Tzu puppy! She is an elderly dog which isn’t always the easiest, but she handled it in stride and kept us informed. Would recommend to anyone!

Jacquie is a phenomenal sitter who went above & beyond for our pups! Her rover cards are extremely detailed & thorough, she takes SO many photos, and she is easy to communicate with. We felt confident our 2 big dogs were in very capable, loving hands while we were away. Thank you so much Jacquie!!

Jacquie was AMAZING! This was our first experience with Rover after we had a negative boarding incident at a larger facility and Jacquie exceeded every expectation. She provided updates and pictures throughout the day, took our pup out for walks and to the dog park, and administered his meds. We were really at ease knowing our boy was well cared for. Schedule
Rover is my full-time commitment, so caring for pets is a big part of my everyday routine. I’m able to be home and available throughout the day, and since I don’t have other work commitments, I can give each pet the time, attention, and care they need.

A typical day
I like to adjust activities based on each pet’s personality and comfort level. Some pets love active play and long walks, while others prefer cuddles, relaxed company, or sticking closely to their normal routine. I’m very patient and accommodating with quirks, habits, and special routines, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each pet happy.
