Pet sitting fits entirely into my life right now because I was employed as a dog trainer, but I took a little spill on my bicycle. My bones have all healed and I am in great condition, but the doctor prohibited me from lifting more that 50 pounds multiple times a day....if your looking for someone just as keen to spend time with your pup as you are for someone to watch him...look no further!! I miss my little four-legged fuzzy friends.

Safety, trust & environment

My job is to show your furry family such a great time that they will be too busy having fun to silly things like cry at the door. That’s my pledge of services to your little ones, BUT above all else, it is my job is to ensure the safety of your loved one(s) while you are away. I won't lock your dog outside and go about running errands. I take my sitting services very seriously. I can't provide care if I am not with your pet; therefore, your dog will have the option for company and companionship essentially from setting paws in the door until your safe arrival and reunion.

Information Jacquelyn S. would like to know about your pet

Health conditions are the first item on my agenda to inquire about. Are there any dietary restrictions, are they taking any medication (if so: how much, when, and how is it distributed). I would need to know of any other weakness or physical ailments that could potential cause any threats. I would also need to know the number of the veterinarian, and if he/she is not available then a number to a vet that can be available. I would also like to know if there are any behavior issues or quirks so that I am not caught off guard. Other than that, as long as I have a time frame to rotate between meals, walks, potty breaks, playtime and bedtime I would expect the night to conclude very well.

A typical day

I will treat your pet as would try would treat my own. If permitted, we will snuggle on the bed together, but only if I receive permission. I like to make sure that all my dogs get lots of exercise and are well taken care of before going off to bed. I would try to see if there's any interest in a park, visit a doggy toy store, or entertain any suggestion you may have to make the little one's experience more enjoyable. If there aren't activities to do outdoors, I also have a big collection of doggy toys that I am sure would brighten the mood. I will love your dog(s)/pet(s) like they are my own. Any needs you have, I will be able to meet. I guarantee you I will give you the pet sitting service you deserve!

My involvement in dog care spans everything from long‑term pet sitting to working full time at veterinary clinics. I’ve volunteer my time at shelters and attended college to become a certified dog trainer, giving me a strong understanding of canine health, behavior, and safety. Caring for dogs isn’t just my career — it’s been my lifelong passion.

Jaquelyn accepted my two doggos on short notice. She is clearly a dog lover and has an intuitive sense of each dogs needs. She provided great communication all day to put my mind at ease. Thank you so much! 🙏🏼💕

Jacquelyn and Elian have been lifesavers for our family. We’re so lucky to have found them! Our dog can be quirky, but they are so patient, kind, and engaging with her - she got comfortable with them right away. We so appreciate their genuine interest in our pup, not just watching her, but really getting to know her personality and helping her grow. They truly have a special skill with dogs, and although Jacquelyn denies being a “people-person” too, she is so warm, friendly and generous to talk to. Their house has quickly become Poppy’s favorite place to go.
