I work full-time and remotely from home, which allows me to have a fairly flexible schedule for 30 min drop ins or walks throughout the day (10-6pm) and can make arrangements for some same day requests as needed. Throughout the week (Mon- Fri), I'm also available most mornings before 9am and evenings after 6pm. On weekends (Sat/Sun), I can be available all day and do overnight sitting Friday and Saturday. Overnights and day care on weekdays can be arranged as needed. To do so, I may require a secure and reliable wifi connection.

I have an SUV that can accommodate any size pet in case of an emergency. While the care plan will depend on you and your pets needs, I am happy to feed, groom, walk, play, or even just sit and talk with your pet. For dog walking, I will either stick to your regular routine as directed or mix it up based on how your pet feels / weather dictates. Any special instructions or considerations are always appreciated and welcomed!

Any information about your pets that are imperative for me to know during our time together, please inform me and provide me with any necessary medication schedules, feeding plans, fitness plans etc. A good understanding of your pets personality and a list of watch outs is also helpful so I can keep a close eye on how your pet is feeling while we are together.

I'm happy to incorporate any activities that your dog enjoys and can be very flexible with what the day or walks look like and where we go. Can stick to any local walks their used to, go to a trail, or a dog park. I will work with you to decide what is the best fit for your dog

Pet care experience
I've been responsible for house sitting and various pet sitting/drop ins (dog, cats, lizards, fish, turtles, horses, birds) for friends and family since I was about 10 years old and have lived with and cared for indoor and outdoor pets both young and senior. Growing up, our family home also had various litters of kittens from wild cats to care for and find good homes for over the years as well. It would be my pleasure to care for your pet, including walks, feedings, grooming, play time, or keeping your pet company for a few hours so they don't get lonely while you're away!

Jacquelyn has been looking after my little Daisy and Romeo for over a year. She always makes sure they always feel right at home and asks if there are any changes to their routine or diet at the beginning of each visit. Communication is always excellent, and I get regular updates and photos, which gives me peace of mind every time I’m away. My pups clearly feel safe with Jacquelyn - they’re always relaxed and content when I return. So much so that Daisy didn’t even want to leave at pick up today! I know they can’t wait to go back for their week long stay next month.
Jacquelyn was so great with Daisy and Romeo! She was flexible with her schedule and made them feel right at home. She sent many photos and updates so I never needed to worry. I know Daisy and Romeo can’t wait to go back :)
Cheeto was well cared for with Jacquelyn! She sent photos to keep us updated and delivered him back to our house when our plans changed. He had several good walks in the snow which he loves. We’d be happy to have Cheeto stay with her again!
I trusted Jacquelyn with Elwood my 12 year old Cairn mix and I made the right choice! Jacquelyn took great care of Elwood especially with his seperation anxiety. She took great care in learning his behaviours and made sure Elwood was happy throught the day. Jacquelyn always responded timely whenever I had a question about how Elwood was doing. Jacquelyn was also very helpful with my working schedule and open to odd and difficult scheduling. I know I can trust Jacquelyn with caring for Elwood anytime the schedule is open.
