More Than A Typical Dog Sitter
*TEMPORARY PAUSE ON BOARDING & DAYCARE* I am now offering drop in visits and sitting in your home as an alternative option 😊 Hello! If you are in search of someone with a vast knowledge, has experience with all breeds/sizes, and the highest quality of care, look no further! My knowledge extends from health, diet, exercise, enrichment activities, light grooming, and training for your dog. My experience consists of: 7 years of dog handling and care of all different breeds/sizes Knowing dogs 101/201 on dog behaviorial courses Pack pro dog training courses on dog language and group management Leerburg training courses Previous employment at 3 dog facilities as a trainer, kennel lead, assistant, and 1 facility as a vet tech. Previous assistant for puppy kindergarten classes The Ultimate Canine Communication Master Class TWC-The Cornerstone Collection Seminars to continue education We live in rural Hudsonville on a dirt road. It's quiet with lots of nature. There's a fenced in yard with ease of access from the slider door. We plan to buy the property from family that we currently live with. There's two acres out back we plan to fence in for the pups who love to run. I do this full time so I'm very flexible and attentive towards every individual pup and allows for balanced play. Each dog that I take in is based off the dogs I will have in house at the time. So the capacity varies but typically stays around 3-6 pups on average. Dogs often learn bad behaviors from one another and make up their own rules during play. I take a different approach to this. I'm careful about which personalities I place together to bring out the best in every dog during play sessions and advocate for the ones who are more of a wallflower. *IMPORTANT IMFORMATION* I only take in puppies that are up to date on their first year of vaccines. This includes: Bordetella Distemper Rabies Negative fecal check (I do accept titer tests for +1 year old pups) 🐕🦺 TRAINING: Some of the behaviors I work on include: resource guarding, jumping, leash pulling, fear related sensory stimuli, hyperactivity, barking, proper dog play/interactions, chasing fast moving objects/high prey drive...etc. I'm more than willing to go over any more information on what I offer if interested.

Cru loves staying with Jacquelyn and she always provides excellent care. I love that she has lots of activities for the dogs during the day and sends pictures so you know he is enjoying himself.
Rudy always does great with Jacquelyn! Have sent him there 4-5 times now and he is always super happy when we pick him up. We feel super comfortable leaving him with Jacquelyn knowing he is well cared for (and we love all the pictures she sends us of him)!
Cru always love staying with Jacquelyn and I love the pictures she sends me so that I know he is having a great time!
Our family absolutely adores Jackie, and the pups of course do too! She does such an amazing job and is always so attentive. We really appreciate the peace of mind she brings us when we’re traveling and needing to board our fur babies.
Jackie was GREAT with my pup. Care, attention, exercise, even to treating my pup's "hot spots" and paw licking. She checked in with me regularly, confirming treatment before completing, advising of any changes in Sadie's diet or behaviors, sending photos almost every day. Her 3 pups are also such good companions to my pup while there - Jackie's a wonderful dog mom! I'll definitely use her again and would stand behind any reference.
Bowser had a great time, as usual. We never worry about him when he’s at Jackie’s!

Programa
They are supervised throughout the day. If your pup is in my care, I treat them as they are my own. The care I offer is much more than just watching your fur baby. I pay close attention to behavior, eating habits, coat maintenance, anxiety, health etc. I typically feed in crates, so they can eat without being bothered. I let them rest for up to an hour, (especially large breeds) after each meal as a precautionary measure to avoid bloat.

I send updates with pictures and videos when watching your pup, so you can see what they have been up to. I have plenty of crates of all sizes, so no need to bring any from home. If they aren't crate trained at night, that's not a problem. I do allow dogs to free roam at night as long as they aren't destructive and I can trust them on their own. I have vet grade cleaner on hand for toys, water dishes and disinfecting. I take health extremely serious, so I have a vast amount of first aid supplies, cones, pharmaciticals and ID on hand. If you have any other concerns or needs I'm more than happy to address those as well.

My main goal is to make each dog as comfortable as possible. I meet every breeds needs and love seeing dogs thrive. I have tricks and tips to provide the most enriching experience. I like to provide long leash freedom so they can run a little outside. I absolutely love seeing dogs that are off leash reliable. This is the best positive experience a dog could ask for. I offer puzzles, and other activities all while learning group manners and being respectful of other's space. I help dogs who may not understand other dogs' boundaries. I have kongs, toys, lick mats, pig ears, agility tunnels, and interactive/treat dispensers. I like to create scenarios that meet the dogs natural instincts. I use a drive pole for this and implement recall. I made a wobble board for puppies to help them with learning their back legs and for core strength building. We do confidence building exercises for mental/physical stimulation. I will help nervous dogs through problem solving exercises and help build body/environmental awareness. I also do training so if I notice a dog that is showing signs of possession or aggression, I work on reversing this while they are with me but the real training starts with the owner.
