Outdoorsy Dog and Cat lover!
I have been an animal lover since I was young, babysitting pets often and a professional dog walker with a company called “fetch” in Maryland. I also worked in a veterinary practice in Maryland and have experience with elderly and sick cats and dogs. I currently have no pets, so have an empty nest and we are looking for some company!

Jacquelyn has had many years experience working with and caring for animals, from Guinea Pigs, to dogs and cats. She has worked in a veterinarian clinic, rescued a few cats, and hiked the Appalachian trail with a dog. She also worked rescuing animals for the city of Washington DC. Her practical knowledge is vast. Jacquelyn is very loving and accepting to all kinds of animals. She creates an environment where the animal is relaxed and happy. They get all the attention that they demand. Jacquelyn's home is clean and organized and set up with pet safety in mind. Your cat may not want to leave.
Jacquelyn was outstanding with our cat. She has so many fun toys in her house and a custom-built cat tower for her to climb! Our little girl immediately felt at home with Jacquelyn and was in perfect shape when we picked her up :)
Jacquelyn is a fantastic caregiver for our dog Gus, who can be a bit finicky. She is great with him and very responsible and responsive. She has had dogs and cats of her own her whole life so understands taking care of them. Gus loves Jacquelyn and he would be excited to be taken care of by her again

Schedule
I work from home full-time so I am available for walks and giving affection to pets at all hours of the day. My husband Also works from home and loves pets, particularly cats. We are a young active couple new to Florida!– walks and running are a regular occurrence for us. We do not have children so we have lots of time and energy to give to a pet! We recently had to put our cat down after 19 years and have found the house too empty!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a very large home and a very large yard that is clean and safe. None of our neighbors have dogs and your pet would be able to go outside with us for walks on a leash or in the backyard. We have space for a crate in the home and lots of space for pet beds. We do not have any pets at home so can accommodate boarding any type of pet.
