No preference of breeds, I have experience with all kinds of breeds and temperaments - I am confident that I can make most dogs comfortable and fulfill their needs. If your dog is fearful or reactive, let me know so I can prepare with lots of treats!
A typical day
After intensely training my own fearful and reactive dog, I am very well versed in dog body language, psychology and individual needs. I am a big fan of sniffy walks to decompress, mental games (puzzles and Find Its), as well as ensuring your pup is comfortable with the environment they are in.

Hello! I am a FL native who moved to CLT in 2022. I do Rover in my spare time because I truly just love animals. I will treat your dog or cat like he/she was my own. I’ve had dogs and cats all my life (mutts, German Shepards, flat coat retrievers, a Weiner dog- I don’t discriminate). I currently have 2 cat brothers who are my pride and joy. Dog walking: I have tons of experience with reactive dogs, leash aggression, (as well as using ECollars and prong collars). A few things about me as a hired walker/sitter: I’m always 5-10 minutes early, extremely organized, trustworthy, love to be outside and go on walks, and promise to do all I can to help your pet feel safe and loved while you are away! I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet and I’m here to take away any worries you may have. ****I cannot commit to dog sitting overnight or recurring daily dog walks (this does not include cat sitting daily drop ins); however, I would be happy to walk/sit your pet every few days or sporadically when needed! This is due to having a baby and 2 pets of my own*****

We were so happy with Jacquelyn’s dog sitting. She was always on time and sent lots of pictures and detailed notes on the visit which allowed us to relax on vacation knowing our pup was well taken care of. Highly recommend her for her reliability and her natural connection she has with pets. I could tell our dog was happy and taken care of when we got home. We’ll be booking Jacquelyn again in the future!

This was our first time booking with Rover. Excellent experience with Jacquelyn being the perfect sitter for our dog Bessie. Great communication through messaging in the Rover app and the walking details with pictures made us feel all the better that our dog was in great hands.
