I enjoy a quiet life working from home. I occasionally leave my apartment to run a quick errand. I follow a detailed care schedule for my whippet which (under most circumstances) can also apply to most small to medium-sized dogs.

I have no yard, but nature walks (in Nacka’s nearby forest), play time and breaks will happen every 3 hours (or more if needed). This is an opportunity for your dog and mine to spend quality time together, but I can also separate them while they are in my apartment - if need be (if they are not keen on each other). If I am caring for your pet at your residence, I will follow your instructions.

My dog prefers other sight hounds and ladies. It is suggested (but not required) that your dog meet mine beforehand - to ensure “smooth sailing.” Especially, for longer stays at my residence. If our dogs get along, they can hang out with each other, share play time and longer dog walks (which occur twice daily). If they do not get along, they will be given separate walks / breaks and will be assigned to different parts of my apartment - with no direct contact during the interim. Aside: if you need help boarding your cat - no worries - your cat would have no contact with my dog, for they would be separated.

I have easy access to trails and paths near the city and in Nacka's nature reserve. Walks are twice daily for 45 minutes to 1.5 hour each (depending on the weather). Play time varies, but I have many dog toys around and games to play with them (tug-of-war, search, fetch, obedience tricks to earn healthy treats).

I have a lovely male whippet (not neutered), and I work from home. I can host one small or medium-sized dog (or cat). I have been around dogs and cats my entire life; before my whippet, I owned a weimaraner. I live 500 meters from the vet clinic “Evidensia Djurkliniken Nacka” (in case of emergency). I believe that I am kind and patient with animals - I love them. I have had some success teaching my dog tricks, but I'm no expert. I have taken care of puppies and older dogs, and at times, even sick dogs which require medication or special attention.
