I have a house with a fenced yard, a pool, and plenty of animal company at home. My dogs are Jen, a redbone coonhound and American lab mix I raised from puppyhood, and Jax, and English charcoal lab we rescued for years ago. Both are eight years old and friendly with both cats and dogs. Rounding out the crew are Freddy and Grady, my two tabby cats, who have been with us for nine years.

A typical day
I like to get to know each dog I care for and tailor activities to their personality and energy level. For active dogs, we may play fetch or go for long walks. On quieter days or when the weather is bad, I like to keep them entertained and mentally stimulated with brain games, tug of war, or a good bone. My goal is for every pet to feel content, happy, and safe under my care.
