Hello everyone my name is Jackie and my pet sitting business name is PAWSOME PETSITTING. I am licensed and insured. I am a HUGE animal lover! I am an animal advocate and activist. Growing up as a kid I always took care of dogs and cats. I have been working at the Humane Society Of Imperial County since 2017 and I also used to work at Howard Animal Hospital in Brawley for 3 years before Dr. Howard recently retired. I have experience handling and working with all types of dogs and cats, (even rabbits, guinea pigs & turtles) including special needs and senior pets. I started out pet sitting for friends which then led me to meet more people who needed pet sitting service, including house sitting (overnight), drop-in visits, and dog walking. I decided to make this into my small business because I honestly enjoy spending time with animals and taking care of them. I also understand the stress people can go through knowing they have to work or have to go out of town and need to leave their fur-babies at home alone. I have fur-babies of my own and I would feel so comfortable knowing that there is someone trustworthy watching over them while I’m gone in the comfort of their own home. This is what I want to provide for you and your fur-baby/babies. ( P.S. I also love the fact that sometimes I get booked by people who adopted their pets from The Humane Society Of Imperial County (where I currently work at) because I get to take care of and spend time with the same fur-kids I cared for at work and who feel comfortable around me already, but this time see them living in their forever home! 🥹 ) I always send updates while you’re gone when I’m with your pets. I send pictures or videos and a quick text message to let you know how they’re doing. My #1 priority and goal is to make sure your pets are taken care of and are comfortable and happy and I want to provide you with that peace of mind.

Before starting any service, I, will of course, be meeting with the owner and the pet(s) first for a meet and greet. I make sure I know all the rules and duties I’ll be doing. I clean after myself and respect everyone’s home and make sure I leave everything the same way as it was when I got there. I will not only be taking care of your pets, but your home as well. I will make sure all fur-kids are well taken care of by making sure to feed them, provide fresh water, provide potty breaks, administer medication if needed, provide play time, and give my love and attention. I am trustworthy, caring, and experienced. Your fur-kids will be in great hands with me.

Jacqueline was referred to us by our previous dog sitter who had to take time off due to medical issues. Our pets are like our kids and we are very protective of them and also who we let in our home. We have now had Jacqueline watching them multiple times and have been extremely satisfied. She is extremely loving and caring for our pets. She followed all of our directions and we feel extremely comfortable leaving and having her watch the pets while we are away. She sends updates of them and also photos/videos so we can check in while away. I would highly recommend Jacqueline is you are in need of a nice, loving reliable and trustworthy pet sitter

I have known Jackie for years and was one of the people to encourage her to start her pet care business after recognizing her natural affinity for animals. She first started taking care of my cat when I travelled out of town and then eventually helped raise, train, and care for my black lab from a puppy until now (almost three years old). Our dog *loves* Jackie and gets super excited when she comes over. Sometimes Jackie watches her at our place, sometimes takes our dog to her place, but we always know she's being well-taken care of when the family is out of town. Jackie's education and career choices also give her special training that is above and beyond the personal relationship she forms with your pets.
Jackie is simply amazing. After moving into a new city and looking for someone to care for our pets when we're out of town, we heard of Jackie by word of mouth and decided to see if she would be the best fit for us. We are private people and particular about who takes care of our pets, we have a German shepherd and an Australian shepherd. We also heard she works at the Humane Society so it gave me a stronger push to try it out. She is now our go-to. She is trust-worthy, professional, and has true love for animals. My dogs absolutely love her. Even when I take them to the park and she comes in because she's looking after someone else's pet, my dogs will lovingly run up to her, my dogs feel the love they are given and love her as their sitter. I am beyond thankful we found her and would highly recommend her to see after your fur babies. It makes being out of town easier knowing she's with our Taco and Handsome Jack (our fur babies).
Jacqueline went above and beyond our expectations in taking care of our three cats while we were away. All the work was done impeccably and our home was treated with the utmost respect. I would recommend Jacqueline to anyone looking for a reliable, affordable and conscientious pet sitter!
Jackie is terrific! She has proven to be everything and more that I could want in a dog sitter! I travel frequently for my job and she has been able to watch Hunter (my dog) every time, sometimes with as little as a day's notice. When I have been to the dog park with Hunter, we have seen Jackie with other dogs that she is watching. Hunter is always really happy to see her. This means a lot to me, knowing that Hunter likes her. I moved here from Sacramento. In Sacramento, I would drop Hunter off at a dog sitter's house when I had to travel. This is the first time that I have ever allowed a dog sitter to enter my home while I am gone. Everything is always as I left it. Jackie is a very trustworthy person. You will be getting the best of both worlds, a very trustworthy person that loves animals (and will love your pet as if it is her own). Jackie is the best dog sitter I have found in the four plus years that I have been using Rover.

Schedule
Pet care fits into my daily or weekly routine because I make time to either do drop-in visits or walks early in the morning before 8:00am and also drop-in visits in the afternoon/evenings/nights. As for house-sitting, I can stay overnight any day/week as long as I have availability and I am told ahead of time.
