I work mostly from home and love caring for dog friends on my available days. I only host pets from one family at a time to make sure each visitor receives the best care and attention during their stay with us. For walks or drop-in visits my schedule is quite flexible. If a pup is with me for the day we will likely do a good amount of walking and play, I'll ensure they are provided water and any other details for their care is followed, and we'll simply have a fabulous day together :)

We live in a very dog-friendly community with walking trails, parks, the ocean, and a dog beach nearby that we love exploring with our visiting pals, (with owner permission of course). Also, an emergency pet hospital is just 5 minutes away if ever needed, though thankfully we have never had to use it.

Please let me know any special details about your pet so I can provide the best care possible! For example, physical conditions, stress triggers, separation anxiety, or any medications. A few notes to make sure we're a great fit: • Our community is very dog-friendly, and almost everyone has a pet, but we do appreciate guests who aren't frequent barkers out of respect for our neighbors. • We have houseplants, so if your pet tends to chew on them, pee on them, or knock them over, just let me know. I am happy to move them out of reach. I love sending photo updates throughout your pet’s stay. Some people like lots of updates, others prefer just a few, so please don't hesitate to request more as I truly enjoy sharing about their time here and I look forward to meeting every new animal friend.

I love spending quality time with the dogs, making sure they feel like they’re having an adventure with a friend! They are never left unattended. Typically, we go on at least one walk a day, often more, along with regular potty breaks, playtime, and of course, plenty of lounging and snuggle time.

I’ve been around animals my whole life and absolutely love them (sometimes more than people haha). Breeders have trusted me to nurse their dogs and puppies back to health, and I have experience caring for both young puppies and senior dogs with special needs. Since my latest beloved dogs, Jacques and Jinger, passed on, I have found so much joy in welcoming other wonderful animals into our lives. We are a young couple living in the heart of Oceanside, CA, within a very pet friendly community. A dog beach and walkable city area are nearby in addition to trails and parks, and we enjoy exploring with our visiting pals. As a professional photographer, I also often enjoy taking and sharing free, high quality photos of our furry friends, in addition to the usual updates with phone snaps that I send during our time together. It is our general rule to only care for one family at a time, so your pet will have the exclusive attention and focus while in my care, ensuring they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. Every dog is not just a dog but a member of the family. I understand every animal has their own personality and individual needs, and I would love to take care of, play, walk, and love on yours and hope to become their friend.

Jacqueline was amazing with our puppy! This was the first time she’d ever been away from us during the day and I felt so comfortable knowing she was in great hands. They played a lot and I got some really nice updates throughout the day.
Jacqueline and Michael were excellent in every way. Jacqueline went out of her way to help us with drop off and pick up. They were extremely attentive to Greta making her feel at home. It is unusual to have your hopes and expectations exceeded but Jacqueline and Michael did just that with their care for Greta. Thank you both very much. Greta looks forward to visiting again.

We had an amazing experience with Jacqueline! From start to finish, everything went smoothly, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she gave our dog, Otis. Jacqueline was so attentive and kept us updated throughout the day, making sure Otis was comfortable and well-cared for. We felt completely at ease leaving him with her, and the pickup was just as seamless. Highly recommend Jacqueline to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful dog sitter!
