I do like to meet the cats before the sitting starts just to find out a bit more about them, what they like to do, what they like to eat etc.
A typical day
There's nothing better than a cat that likes to play....but if they are happy and content having a nap but with some company around that's fine too. Most love a good neck and back scratch, a lovely fuss to get them purring. I am happy to go with the flow depending on the needs of your cat. After a few hours of cat sitting it's fairly easy to figure out what's going to work best.

Hello I would love the opportunity to look after your cats and give you peace of mind while you are away. Going on holiday or visiting family and friends is such a joy but the worry of “who will look after my cats” can be a real issue, I know it is for me. It would be great to remove that worry and know that you can go away rest assured that your cats are looked after as if they were my own. I have had cats all my life, probably around 16 in total - mostly rescue cats until 2 years ago when I adopted Duchess, my first Ragdoll. I also have a 10 year old tuxedo moggie called Dart who is adorable. I am not working at the moment after spending years in hospitality and HR, so my time is my own and what better way to spend it than with cats. As Sigmund Freud said "time spent with cats is never wasted". Please give me a call or drop me a note if you would like to talk cat sitting through.

Jackie has been amazing. She came and met Dora before we went away and sent me photos and updates every day we were away. Dora loved her and would sit on her lap happily purring. Couldn’t recommend her more. Thanks so much again 😀 we’ll definitely ask her to look after Dora in the future
