I work from home full time so Harley and I spend the whole day together. We would be thrilled to add another friend to our group. I never leave Harley home alone for more than 4 hours though most days she’s never left as all. We do long walks, training practice, playtime, and plenty of potty breaks every day.

I’m very intentional about creating a calm, structured environment and will always: -feed dogs separately -never leave dogs together unsupervised -closely monitor all play and step in as needed to keep interactions safe and positive -follow all your dog’s routines, boundaries and any special instructions

I’d love to know your dogs regular daily routine (how often does he/she get walks, potty breaks etc). Also let me know if there are any behavioral quirks I should know about. Also, since I have a dog, it’s helpful to know how your dog does with other canines.

Harley and I are very active, so you can expect we will go out on a lot of walks. For lower energy pups, we have plenty of toys here for a different type of enrichment. I also try to take Harley out for a “sniff-fari” at least once a day so she can use her nose!

Hi! I’m Jacky, a lifelong dog lover and dedicated dog mom to Harley, my 4-year-old golden retriever. I work from home full time, which means your dog will get constant supervision, plenty of attention, and lots of opportunities for walks, play, and enrichment throughout the day. I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a teenager, and over the years that experience has only deepened. Since adopting Harley, we’ve welcomed many dogs into our home for half days, full days, and even week long stays. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different routines, energy levels, and personalities. I like to focus on making them feel safe, relaxed, and at home.

Jacky and Harley were gracious enough to accept sitting for my 15 week old puppy for 3 consecutive days at their home while I had to be at the office. This was my first experience with Rover and I was skeptical about handing my little girl off to a stranger, but Jacky put me at ease, even agreeing to me with us to get acquainted prior to the appointment. Everyday I got routine updates with the sweetest pictures of my pup and Harley having the best time together. It was comforting to know she was being well cared for during the day and at pickup time I’d be bringing home an exhausted puppy, giving me some time to unwind after a long day of work. I can’t recommend Jacky and Harley enough, thank you!!
