Availability
I work part time and have a flexible schedule, so depending on the clients needs could make myself available. Ideally if I'm pet-sitting for the day/night I won't have work, or training, but if I do I am usually away for 4-5hrs. This would be communicated with you prior to booking so if there are any conflicts with timing you will know.

Information Jacqueline K. would like to know about your pet
I don't have much experience with special needs or senior dogs but I accept all animals and am willing to learn. If we do an initial visit and I am not comfortable with something or believe it's above my level of skill then I will be honest and either we find a solution or I let you know someone else may be better for the job, but the safety of the animal is always my top priority!
A typical day
If they have toys then I like to play with them in the apartment, as well as just cuddle and give them belly rubs. Given the dogs needs I'm up for short or long walks, as well as going swimming if there's a dog beach nearby!

Pet care experience
I was born and raised in Canada, but have recently moved to Switzerland as my family is Swiss and I am an athlete on a Swiss National Team. I have a couple of part time jobs which leaves me with some free time during the day to hang out with your furry friends 😊 I've taken care of animals since I was born basically. Had a dog for the first 11 years of my life, as well as 4 cats, a rabbit, and a hamster. Then my sister got a dog that we've had now for 10 years who I help take care of when I'm home! I've also helped sit neighbours and friends pets and I also did some fostering. I am a lazy athlete which means I enjoy getting out of the house, walking, running, and swimming, but I also love spending all day in bed, so I am compatible with any type of animal, be it a puppy, a mid life crisis dog, or a senior citizen 😊 I unfortunately am not allowed pets in my apartment so am only open to dog-walking or house-sitting! I speak fluent Italian and French, so feel free to reach out in any language 😊

Jacqueline was just amazing. We had a planned visit to the Lindt Chocolate Museum and she took excellent care of our Dalmatian for 3 hours. Communication with Jacqueline was excellent from pre-booking phase until the very end. She was on time at agreed locations and she did some much more than what we expected. And when we came to pick up our dog, we could see that a they had already created a bond. Which isn’t that easy to do with a Dalmatian. We are very happy with Jacqueline’s services and can recommend her to anyone and everyone.
Jackie was a quick and clear communicator and made the booking process very easy - particularly when I had a few questions about timing and cost. She took great care of our two dogs, both of whom very calm and relaxed when Jackie arrived and when we came home from our day out. We really appreciated the updates during the afternoon so we had peace of mind that things were going well. Thank you!
Jakie is a very nice, strong and reliable girl and Kobe had a great time with her! We hope we can count on her often in the future too.
