I will interact with the pets the way the owner’s have taught me since a dog who is energetic will be different than a dog with separation anxiety. I will spend time with the dog as much as I can, and make sure I care for them.

A typical day
I usually take the dogs on walks when it is not too hot out. If they enjoy playing with toys I do that with them. Sometimes watching TV is what the owners have recommended doing if they had a senior dog.

Pet care experience
I have cared for dogs for elderly couples. The dogs have ranged from four months old to 14 years old. I have cared for dogs with physical disabilities as well as mental issues. I would feed the dogs, take them on walks, administer medication, and do physical therapy with them all under the owner’s instruction.

It was my first experience using this app and my first time trusting a complete stranger to take care of my dog. I was very nervous at first. Since my dog is a senior, it’s important for me to know that she’s eating, drinking, and going potty normally, so I really appreciated that Jacqueline kept me updated throughout the stay. She sent me photos, gave my dog her vitamins, and even watered my plants as I had asked. She took wonderful care of everything, and my dog came home happy and relaxed. I truly can’t recommend Jacqueline enough. She made my very first experience with both this app and having someone stay in my apartment while caring for my dog completely stress-free.
