**Now Serving the North Bend, Coos Bay Area** Hi, I'm Jackie, a retired teacher with over 50 years of experience with pets and pet sitting. Eric, my husband, is also retired. It can be challenging to find responsible people to care for our pets, so I thought I would offer my services to others in the same situation. Our menagerie includes 2 dogs, a cat, several snakes, geckos, and lizards. The reptiles have their own room, so there is no need to worry about your fur babies. I also have significant experience with livestock and unusual and exotic pets. We have a small, fully fenced yard in Hauser and can accommodate your dog(s) as long as they get along with other dogs. I have two labs, ages 11 and two. I'm geared up for walking and will take your well-behaved fido for trail walks and visits to the dog park if you like. We had such a wonderful experience! She watched Lucy and Lauretta twice while we were in Coos Bay so we could go fishing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She was absolutely amazing with both of our dogs. She sent us regular photos and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious from the pictures that Lucy and Lauretta were having the BEST time. They got to play in the pool, enjoy some fruit, and basically have their own little vacation! Both dogs absolutely loved being there, and they came home happy and tired. We are so grateful we found someone who treated them like her own and made them feel so comfortable. We would 100% recommend her and will definitely book with her again whenever we’re in the area!
Jacqueline was so amazing to work with she worked with our late night schedule while picking up family from the airport and even picked him up super early for us before we headed out to the air port. My fur baby was super tired out when he got home she made sure to send lots of pictures it made me feel very comfortable with my baby over there.
Jacqueline promptly responded to my last minute booking request and was able to pick Miabella up from the hotel I was staying at which was super helpful. She followed care instructions I provided and Miabella came back a happy pup. Thank you!
Jackie's care of my sweet Phoebe was excellent. She consistently communicated with us, and was totally transparent in sharing info about Phoebe's status and mood each day, even when our mature kitty was not as happy with our absence for a day or two. This means the world to us. I am so glad to have found someone so trustworthy and kind to care for her when we're away, and will definitely hope to hire Jackie again the next time we travel.

Schedule
I'm available full-time on most days. In addition, I can meet my clients to pick up and drop off their dogs at no extra charge if they are within 30 minutes of me. Please see the calendar for availability.

Safety, trust & environment
Our yard is fully fenced. Dogs are welcome to spend the day inside, outside, or a mix of both, depending on the weather. When it's nice, we leave the doors open. I can also accommodate pups that need a quiet space in our guestroom. In addition, I only care for one family's dogs at a time unless ALL dogs have a "meet and greet" and both families agree. I often cared for multiple dogs while living in Bend. My dogs are current on all vaccinations. Please don't bring sick animals to our home.
Pets
A typical day
I like to take my girls swimming in the summer, as well as for short hikes. We frequently hit Horsfall Beach for a bit of exercise when the weather allows. Our yard is large and offers plenty of room for a game of fetch, a jump in the dog pool, or lounging. We have a smaller fenced-in area and a large forested area to romp.

- This is regarding boarding or daycare in my home. Your dog(s) must get along with Zoey and Asha, my labs. Asha is fairly new to hosting other dogs in her home and is learning how to share space, toys, me, and more. Zoey is 11 now, slowing down a bit, but she will still play, often sitting on the sidelines, refereeing Asha. She is very calm with older dogs and gentle with puppies. If your dog is recently recovering from surgery, I might not be a good fit. In addition, if your dog is aggressive, I can not watch him/her at our home. Please be sure your dog gets along with cats before contacting me. Our cat is old and grumpy. In addition, I prefer that your pet is current on vaccinations, but I can still work with you if they are not. Thank you for your understanding.
