Availability
I am currently between jobs after being made redundant following maternity leave, so I have availability for dog walking bookings most weeks from Monday to Friday. I am also available for drop-in visits to care for other pets including: cats, hamsters, rats, fish, amphibians and reptiles. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions.

I will offer your dogs my one-to-one attention, as I will only walk dogs from a single household at once. This means your dog will have all of my love and they will get more time to play and sniff around without the stress of having other dogs around. I will always keep your dog on a lead for their own safety.

I have experience with reactive and high energy dogs. Please do let me know in advance if your dog is dog-reactive, people-reactive, or any other behavioural triggers they may have. This is so I can tailor my services (such as walking in quieter areas, providing calming enrichment toys) to ensure they have a relaxed and enjoyable time with me. Please also make me aware if your pet has any allergies.
A typical day
I love to ensure your dogs have been stimulated physically and mentally, by going on lovely walks and also working on some command training or offering many sniffing opportunities to get their brains working!

Pet care experience
I am an Animal Care Professional, with a Masters Degree in Animal Welfare and a love for all animals, especially dogs. I have looked after animals all my life, starting out with my own pets and those of my family and friends. Personally, I have had the pleasure of owning: fish, hamsters, rats, giant african land snails, corn snake, stick insects, praying mantis, crested gecko, and most recently my beloved dog, Lina. I have also cared for animals in a professional capacity, having worked at various zoos and farms in addition to colleges and universities, where I have helped to educate students about animal care and husbandry. Most recently I have been offering dog walking and pet sitting services to family friends and have loved the experience, which is why I am extending my offer for dog walking on here! I would love to help you and your furry companion to feel well looked after.

We were so pleased with the care Jacqueline gave to our two huskies, Boris and Elsa. They’re full of energy and can be a bit cheeky, but she managed them brilliantly and clearly knew how to handle them.
Jacqueline was great with my dog that isn’t usually the friendliest with new people. She followed all instructions both at home and on walks, which made me feel much more at ease trusting her with my dog. Would definitely recommend!
Had Jacqueline come and check in our our dog Jess whilst we were out for long periods, she was always willing to help. Sent pictures and little updates on Jess too. Jacqueline is welcoming and polite person, very glad we got the chance to know her. Sadly we moved so can't use her anymore but for anyone who needs someone reliable and friendly to look after there loved pet, i would highly recommend her.
