I’ve been around dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is growing up with three Jack Russells tearing through our house, so I learned pretty quickly that loving animals also means understanding their energy, personalities, body language, and needs. My family has always adopted from shelters, and our animals have never felt like “pets.” They are family members, and I treat the animals in my care the same way. I’m attentive, hands on, and not afraid of the messy parts of caring for them, whether that means checking a dog’s mouth when something seems wrong, cleaning up an accident, noticing a change in behavior, or simply giving them the patience and affection they need. I truly believe animals deserve someone who pays attention and takes their care seriously. I’m responsible, respectful, comfortable with both dogs and cats, and very used to all the stinky, silly, chaotic, and loving energy that comes with them. Trust me, I get it, and I’m your gal!
