I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was a child. Growing up we always had at least two dogs and one or two cats and I was responsible for their care. My 15 year old cat passed away a few years ago and I served as his primary care-giver. I became quite skilled in delivering medicine to him in the final years of his life and would feel comfortable doing so for your pet if needed. I currently have a 20 pound Shih Tzu who LOVES all other animals and people so she'd be an ideal play date. I also have a a 12 pound, 13 year old pekingese/shih tzu mix that is also happy and willing to play with other dogs after a little bit of warming up. I frequently dog sit my friends' Jack Russell and the three of them love to play and share toys.

I live in a large apartment with a small front yard but I also live in a dog friendly neighborhood in which to take longer walks. My yard is not fenced in but I am within walking distance of the rail trail and a dog park. I'm also amenable to car rides to other parks and hiking areas if your pet would enjoy that. I've also got small and medium sized sweaters and coats for doggies that may get cold during the winter months. If your pet is crate training, there is plenty of space to set up their crate as well. Otherwise, house-trained dogs are free to hang out with my dogs in the apartment during the day if I'm not home.

Jacqueline did a great job feeding and loving my two cats while I was away! The shy cat even came out to say hi to her! The photos she took of the cats were great to see.
Jacqueline was an amazing sitter for my cat Julien. She is very reliable and attentive to my cats needs. She has been my go to sitter every time I needed someone to care for my cat because I know he’ll be in good hands with her.

I am so glad we choose Jacqueline Elise as our pet sitter. My shy cat really loved her, it was comforting to know he was being well taken care of. She was quick to respond and gave detailed updates on my cat. She went above and beyond and was happy to water my house plants for me as well.

Any time that I leave for an overnight trip or weekend excursion, I know that my first call will be to Elise to watch over my little bundle of fur. Typically, she will send me updates through texts and pictures to notify me that my dog is being supervised properly and loved accordingly. Not only is Elise patient with the energy of my Jack Russell Terrier, but also Elise is affectionate with hugs and treats for my pup. Schedule
I currently work full time (8-5) but as I work from home with a flexible schedule, I’m able yo schedule walks and drop ins during the day under most circumstances. I've got two dogs, so I make walking and feeding them on time a priority, and I'll do the same for your pet. Most weekends I'm home during the day, barring any errands I may need to run, so I'm free most weekends for visits and walks.
