I currently work from home so I am quite flexible. I am someone who likes to beat the heat before the ground get too hot for our babies so I like to get the walks done in the morning, at least for my own. But I am happy to accommodate and fit into your schedule.

In my home we do a quick lap around the neighborhood after breakfast and get our wiggles out before I have to do some work for a few hours. Following that we do typically go for an afternoon walk that would be a bit longer than the morning. If stay at your home I would typically do the same if that is what was comfortable with you and your requests.

Information Jacqueline C. would like to know about your pet

Before sitting your pup, I’d love to know a few important details to make sure they’re happy and comfortable. Please let me know if your dog has any medications, special routines, or training focuses you’d like me to continue while they’re with me. It’s also helpful to know if there are any foods, activities, or habits that should be avoided. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure your pet feels at home and cared for just the way you would.

A typical day

I think it’s so important to get your dog outside! I’m a huge advocate for a good long walk, whether it’s around the neighborhood or somewhere new. Walks give dogs the chance to explore new scents and interact with other animals and people. As a Lab owner, I also know how beneficial swimming can be for their hips, so I love incorporating some pool time too. Beyond physical exercise, I believe mental stimulation is just as important—after all, if you don’t use it, you lose it! My boys especially enjoy when I hide a treat inside one of their toys or set up a little treasure hunt of treats in the backyard or around the house.

Pet care experience

I've been around dogs my whole life, growing up with large breeds that taught me patience and confidence from an early age. During COVID, I brought home a 8 week old black lab, who I personally trained in both potty and behavioral skills-including walking off-leash with full command recall. I also have experience walking my aunt's and neighbors' dogs, and I've provided overnight dog sitting for family and friends. Whether it's exercise, training, or just giving your pup love and attention, I treat every dog like they're my own.

Jacqueline house sat for my dog Toby. She was great - very communicative, easy to book with, and sent the cutest photos! Toby was so happy when I got home and very sleepy from his long walks with Jacqueline. I will definitely book her again!
