Pet care experience

Loving & fun pet care!

Hello! I’m a nurse pursuing a graduate degree and pet and house sitting on the side. I’ve had cats & dogs my whole life, and have cared for little reptile pets as well! I have experience walking, running and playing with dogs of all sizes and petsitting durations from an overnight to one month at a time with both dogs and cats. No dogs (or cats!) are too big or too small. I enjoy helping pets get outside and active, or doting on them at home. I’m comfortable with puppies and elderly dogs and cats, and can run with your more energetic pups to get their yayas out! My schedule is very flexible and I take pet care seriously - I want you to be worry-free while you’re on vacation or busy at work. I have three fully remote weekdays per week and one half remote day, so plenty of quality time to spend with your pup. I’m available for scheduled weekly walks, one-off check-in’s and walks, as well as for overnight stays and longer pet sitting periods.

Safety, trust & environment

I offer pet sitting in your pets’ home spaces, and am happy to adapt to specific needs while at your home. I’m an early-to-bed and early-to-rise person, so I’ll be able to spend plenty of time with your pets and help them get active before I head anywhere for a few hours! I can provide feeding and medication administration, and have experience with pills, creams, dressing changes and insulin injections for pets.

We have entrusted our dog -- a rescue -- to Jackie's care over the years, including for walks, overnight stays, and multinight stints. Our dog is not the most trusting, and also does not like to meet other new dogs, and Jackie has handled her needs well. As our dog has aged, Jackie has adapted -- they used to run together and over time that has evolved into walking. Jackie loves dogs and is on-time. You can rely on her to care for your pet.

You would be lucky to have Jackie as a caregiver / dog-walker for your pet. She is intelligent, responsible, reliable, honest, and loving. Our dogs adore her and get so excited to see and spend time with her, and we know they are in good hands. She is diligent about the timing and dosage of the animals' needed medications, and although she is fit and enjoys taking the dogs on extended walks, she is cognizant of limitations that older dogs may have and adjusts to their needs. As a medical professional, she also pays attention to the poops that the dogs have and reports back any concerns. Honestly, she's the absolute best.

I’m currently a full-time student with lots of lunch break time and three fully remote days a week to tend to pups & cats! I’m happy to help with short or long at home care while you’re traveling, or to set up a weekly walking (or running) schedule with your dogs. Reach out and we can discuss what works best!
