I am a huge animal lover! I grew up with all sorts of animals, but dogs and cats absolutely have my heart. Over a 20-year span, I have worked with Labrador Retrievers, German Shepherds, Grey Hounds, Papillons, Maltese, and more- so I am very comfortable with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have a degree in animal science, volunteered at animal shelters, participated in various dog training courses, and have cared for several young and senior animals through Rover. These experiences have further developed my ability to safely and expertly care for your fur-family. We currently own a border collie/ husky mix, a labrador, and a Pyrenees mix who love to play tug-of-war, cuddle on the couch, and go on long walks. So I am very used to working with high energy pets! I understand that every dog and their owner have a different routine and expectations. Whether your pet is a couch potato wanting some cuddles or is active and requires more exercise, I will always do my best to adhere to your pup's needs and routine! I aim to only accept one client at a time, so you can be sure that your pet is getting the utmost love and attention! My husband and I have somewhat flexible schedules and can offer some weekday and boarding services! If you are local to Manhattan we can offer walking and drop-in visits. Boarding we do out of our home in Westmoreland! ~ Are you new to Rover? I'd love to be the first to welcome you and answer any questions you might have :)

Jacqueline was amazing! It always makes me nervous to get a new sitter, but Jacqueline quickly proved to be super reliable, communicative and trustworthy, so all my nervousness was quickly gone. I work full-time for K-State so I am mainly available weekends or on university holidays. My husband has additional weekday availability so between our two schedules there will almost always be someone home to be with your fur-friend ! If you have any questions about our availability, please feel free to reach out!

- Safety is my #1 priority for all animals in my care. Knowing answers to the following questions will help me guarantee your pet has the most fun and comfortable stay possible! -Are they dog friendly? Cat friendly? -If you have a male dog, are they neutered? I only accept intact male dogs under 6 months. -Your usual schedule: feeding, walking/playtimes, bedtime, etc. -Are they reactive to anything? I.e. other dogs on leash, cars, people, etc. -Is your dog is possessive? Please don't send the items he/she guards, or let me know if I need to feed him/her separately. -Any special habits or training to reinforce while in my care? I love obedience training and would be happy to spend time working with your pet to reinforce any rules or tricks you have been teaching them (i.e. basic obedience, not to jump on people/furniture, etc.) :) -Any sensitive areas they don't like to be pet? I.e. face, behind ears,
