I’ve been around dogs for most of my life and have always loved animals. I grew up with a Weimaraner from the age of 4, and since then I’ve gained many years of hands-on experience with different breeds and personalities. I’ve looked after my brother’s German Shorthaired Pointer since he was a puppy and he turns 5 this November. I’ve lived with and had responsibility for two Pugs from puppyhood for around four years, and a Cockapoo for five years into older age. I’ve also spent time looking after my godmother’s elderly mixed-breed dog, who has some Jack Russell in him, as well as friends’ dogs on occasions when they’ve needed a helping hand. This has included breeds ranging from Dachshund to Greyhound. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, ages and personalities and genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s individual character. I’m patient, attentive and responsible, and would treat your dog as if they were my own. I also love wildlife photography, so being outdoors and around animals is something I genuinely enjoy. I’m very comfortable meeting new people and building a rapport, having spent many years working in customer-facing roles and performing. I understand how important it is to feel confident and comfortable with the person caring for your pet, and I’ll always keep owners updated and communicate openly.
