We were hopeful going into this booking, especially since the sitter made time to meet our dogs beforehand and learn their routine. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. When we returned home, we found multiple accidents throughout the house. Several throw rugs—including those in the kitchen, bathrooms, and near the back door, which is the designated let-out area, were soiled. We had clearly communicated that the dogs need to be let out every 6 hours and asked that bathroom doors remain closed to prevent our larger dog from getting into toilet paper. Despite this, both bathroom rugs were soiled indicating the doors had been left open. Our flight arrived late, and we had to spend several hours cleaning due to the strong urine smell and mess. Communication during the stay was minimal. The sitter later explained that his phone was broken, which impacted his ability to send updates but more consistent communication would have been appreciated, especially regarding how the dogs were doing. Our dogs are generally well-trained and do not have accidents indoors. One of them is older and requires consistent let-out times, which we emphasized before the stay. Given the length of our trip and the effort we put into preparing, we were disappointed with the outcome.

Jacob was great! Our 2 golden doodles seemed to really like him. He did a great job letting us know how the were doing and let us know right away when one of them had an upset stomach and helped find and feed them some canned food we had to help them feel better. We’ll definitely book with him again next time.

Sent so many pictures, took care of plants, respectful of your home! Very happy dogs :)

Jacob is wonderful. Very responsible, very highly recommended! He took care of our older cat and fish tank.
