I am based in Vancouver and I currently work a part time retail job in Portland. My retail job's schedule is not consistent and I may need to be at work for 6 to 8 hours on a particular day, sometimes during an afternoon or evening feeding time. Luckily, my schedule gets posted three weeks out. So, I'll know which days I will be totally free to hang out with pets. I'll make sure to communicate with you on which days I will be gone for a long stretch and make sure it fits within your pets schedule.

I am flexible for how will care for your pet in your home. If your pet requires a lot of attention and play time, then I am more than willing to take them to the backyard or nearest park to let them play to their hearts content. Or, if your pet is shy or getting older, I can certainly give them their space.

I can administer medications if needed, just let me know. Knowing the activity level of the dog would also be useful. This way I can get a better idea of what to do/where to go if needed.
A typical day
I can provide any activity that your pet enjoys. Needs to run around a bit? Can take it to the nearest off leash area. Wants to explore a bit? Can take it for walks where it can smell to its hearts content. Am also totally fine with having a lazy day as well, providing as many pets as required.

Pet care experience
I grew up in a family that owned dogs all of my life. I also pet sat (both cats and dogs) for many family friends over the years, even helping look over a dog team once when I lived in Alaska. Furthermore, I am capable of going on long walks or short ones, playing fetch or tug of war for extended periods, or just chillin' at home providing all the belly rubs and scratches as possible.

This was my first time using Rover and Jacob made it an amazing experience. He was very kind and welcoming with our two large dogs. Jacob sent daily photos of our dogs and was willing to go above and beyond for them. Took them to play and walk and made sure they were completely taken care of.
