Pet care experience
Beach home for furbaby/ free trades
We have fostered over a dozen shelter dogs, younger pups, seniors that are deaf, kitten litters, moms with babies, senior cats, and cats with medical needs. We are a young, energetic, and dedicated couple that work from home and LOVES pets (having had cats and dogs our whole lives). We value bonding, cuddles, play time, training time, and listening to the pet to understand their needs. We have worked with training dogs from the local shelter to deal with resource guarding. Each pet is unique, and we have several rooms, front yard, and fenced patio, all available to make sure your pet can have fun time and down time as they need. No children live in the house, and we like to go for long beach walks or hikes. We will do our best to make sure your baby has a pawsome time :)

Jacob would be an incredible and dedicated pet parent. He is experienced with dogs and cats. He is patient with training and understands how to communicate with animals well. I remember him dropping everything to take his cat to the vet when she developed an illness and then spent days there caring for her while she recovered. He is active and wants to be outdoors or on the beach, so active pets might enjoy his company!

Schedule
We often work from home, so between the two or us, someone is almost always home. We can do frequent feedings, walks, cuddles, and meds if needed. We go for frequent walks to the beach which is less than a five minute walk away and would love to take your pup! We have a medium crate if needed, but are unfortunately unable to care for pets that have severe separation anxiety or are not house trained. If you have a well behaved dog under 30 pounds or a cat and looking for pet care during the holidays (or otherwise) we are also open to trading pet care! We will be going away for 2-3 weeks in Jan/Feb. Reach out! :) Boarding is provided for 24 hour periods. A late fee of 10 per hour upto 4 hours is applied after the 24 hour period

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced patio and a 12 yo friendly little dog (cocker spaniel/retreiver) to keep your pet company. Plenty of toys, snacks, and comfy places to nap. I can crate your pet if needed, and can administer meds if needed.

A typical day
Morning and evening play time after meals and three long walks or runs a day. We can provide some training to your pet during play time for mental enrichment.

- Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviours that we can account for or train for. We are experienced with senior dogs and dogs requiring medication. If the pet is anxious or destructive and needs constant stimulation and care during the day, an extra charge of 40 a day will apply for constant care.
